Miracle of Life
I saw a miracle tonight
It was the wonder in a new mother's eyes
Reflected back from her newborn son
It was in the grasp he had on her finger
And, the tears that rolled down her cheeks
I felt it in my heart, as I watched them bond
That age old connection between a mother, and her child
That love that defies description
Tonight, I saw a miracle
