Callisto

Golden hair and beauty fair,

Look in her soul find nothing there,

But pain and hate, hurt and loss.

She seeks to end it,

But what's the cost?

She buried the hurt in others pain,

Hoping it would never surface again.

She sought godly power to cover the need, Always seeking to plant her seeds,

Of revenge and destruction for innocence lost. Finding no solace there,

She sought oblivion.

An end to all things of her,

A final escape.

But justice prevailed

As it always will.

The end of her suffering,

Was not hers still.

From the gates of hell,

She continued to rage.

Now forever fearing,

No escape from her cage.

But redemption drew nigh,

In an enemy turned friend.

What she sought to destroy,

Brought her peace and life again.
