I know, when you left, you thought I'd fall apart

You didn't think I could live without you

And to tell you the truth, neither did I

But I didn't fall apart, I came together

And I discovered some things I hadn't known

You weren't holding me up, you were keeping me down

You weren't my light, I was your reflection

You weren't my strength, you were my crutch

And somewhere in out time together, I lost myself

I'm finding that I'm not the person I thought I was

And I'm not the person you thought I was, either

I am a stranger to myelf, but as I get to know me

I am pleasantly surprised by what I find

And when I have fully evolved, I'm really going to like

who I am
