Love Heals The Wounds

I love you with all that I am

And I know you feel the same about me

But all we do is hurt each other

To see tears in your eyes breaks my heart

And yet, I am the cause of them

I hear the pain in your voice when we argue And it tears at my soul

But through all of the fighting

My love for you burns deep in my heart

I know that I should walk away

But I'm just not that strong

We are tearing each other apart

And yet, leaving you is not an option

Without you I would cease to breathe

For you are the breath that gives me life

You are the blood that runs through my veins

You are the one thing that makes life worth living

So I will endure the pain

We will endure it

And let our eternal love heal the wounds
