Just a kiss in your ear
to help you start your day
as you climb from cyber arms
despite entreaties to stay.
Off you'll go into battle
fiercly face down your foe
and meet other comp techs
PC and Mac, toe to toe.
I'll be here in my blankets
and think of sleep blissfully
but I won't be too lonesome
with kids one, two and three.
See, when the day is still dark
and the world is still sleeping
and I'm knocking at Dreamland
that's when they'll start creeping.
'Cos they think I'm an object
to investigate and climb
who'll keep away all the monsters
with a hug, kiss and a rhyme.
By the end of the day
when all the howling is done
and I've separated my daughters
and then sorted out my son
I'll get back into my bed
with the lights dimmed on low
all the day's stress will leave us
as we get back on the phone.
