So Close, So Far

Disclaimers:
The characters in this story are all mine and the story is all mine. The characters may look like two of our favorite actresses that are not mine, but that's where the similarity ends. The song in this part is all mine, as well.
Love/Sex/Language:
Yes to all of the above. This story depicts an explicit loving relationship between adult women. If you're under-aged or live in a place that this isn't allowed or this isn't your cup of tea, I suggest you move along and look for something else to occupy your free time.
Violence:
There are some scenes that contain pretty graphic violence but I don't consider them to be much. But if you're of the fainter heart, I'd suggest you don't read 'em. They're really not bad though...Not worse than any regular Xena episode.. There is a scene that deals with an almost-rape but nothing serious and nothing graphic.
Thanks:

Author's comments and Feedback: This is my second novel length story. I hope you'll like it. Unfortunately, the story is yet to be finished because I'm quite busy in my day to day life at the moment so I apologize ahead for the delays in my posting of the parts. I promise to try and write as fast as I possibly can. I hope you decide on reading it anyhow...
I decided to put on hold the writing of the sequel to my story "Time and Time Again". Now about this story, everything in this story is meant purely for fun and I hope you find it funny (in places it was meant to be funny), dramatic (the same) and so on. I would really appreciate knowing what you think of my stories. Tell me if I'm doin' all right or if I royally suck. Some plot ideas would be very much appreciated also. Actually, come to think of it, any comment would be very much appreciated :) mailto:Dimples_2000_fr@yahoo.com

Part Eight
Ch. 19
The days flew by for the girls. They talked, played and talked some more. On the way, they stopped at a few small restaurants, for a quick bite and to shake the soreness out of their stiff muscles.
They reached the border of Arizona on the third day and the small town of Tucson, in the evening of that same day. Even though the drive was fun, they were tired. They decided everything else would have to wait for the morning. The bus stopped at the front of the large house, letting them off.
"Well, here we are, Jay...Jennifer." Said Shawn, their driver. He took the duo's small suitcases out of the bus and put them down next to their feet. "You want me to...?" He said as he motioned at the luggage. Jay shook her head and said, "No that's okay. You're tired too. Go find some nice hotel and settle in. I'll take care of these."
"Okay, if you need anything, you have my number."
"Yeah, thanks, Shawn. We'll call you. Take care, ok?"
"Yeah, you too." He winked at them and then drove off.
"Well, here we are." Jay said to Jennifer.
Jennifer looked at the house, her eyes widening as she kept looking up to find there was still more to the house. "Wow, nice place." Jay chuckled softly and pulled Jennifer with her toward the main entrance. "How about, we go in, settle in our rooms and go to sleep? We'll leave everything else for tomorrow." suggested Jay.
"Sure. Sounds like a plan. I am pretty tired." And to emphasize her point, she tried to stifle the jaw-breaking yawn that threatened to consume her. Jay smiled, picked up their luggage and led her friend inside. The interior of the house was dark since it hadn't been lived in for the past few months. Jay flipped the small light switch on the wall that was to the right of the front door and blinked a few times, to adjust her eyes to the bright light. The chandelier in the middle of the ceiling that stood more than 20 feet above their heads, sparkled brightly with the white glow. Jennifer looked mesmerized around her. There was so much to see, to look at. "It's beautiful."
"Yes, yes it is. Like I told you, you decorated everything by yourself. What can I say? You have great taste."
Jennifer blushed slightly and turned her head in both directions, trying to capture everything all at once.
"You'll give yourself a headache if you keep that up." Teasedd Jay, gently. "We'll have plenty of time tomorrow for this. I'll show you around the house whenever you wake up, okay?"
"Oh alright." Jennifer said reluctantly. Her body was already protesting with fatigue.
"Come on." Jay said and pulled Jennifer up the stairs. The stairway was right in front of the door. It was wide and curvy, made of white marble. The rail was thick and made of stone. The second floor was just as tasteful. The corridors between rooms, were wide and comfortable and Jennifer came to find that the bedrooms were the same way. Jay showed her into the last one on the left. "This was your bedroom. You liked it because it faces the pool and the yard and the windows in this room are larger than in any other room. You like brightly lit rooms and at night you can see the moon from the bed."
"It's beautiful. Just like the rest of what I've seen."
"Yeah, just like its owner." Jay spoke her mind before she could censor it.
Jennifer blushed and moved further into the room, hoping that the dimness of the room would cover her reaction."Well, I'll let you get settled. Here are your things and you have other stuff of yours here in the closet. So, I'll see you tomorrow morning. If you need anything, my room is right next to yours." Jay put Jennifer's suitcase down on one of the chairs and turned to the door.
"Thank you, Jay. For everything. Good night."
Jay looked back tenderly, softness shining in her bright blue eyes, "No, thank you." And with that said, she left, closing the door behind her.
Jennifer pondered on her answer for a few seconds and then just dropped it. She was too tired to try and understand her complicated friend. She switched on the light and looked around the room. The large bed was pressed against the wall on the left. It was dressed in white with large fluffy pillows strewn about. On both sides stood night stands. In front of the bed, on the far right of the room was a door leading to the bathroom. An opening near the bathroom door revealed a walk-in closet that was almost as large as a small store. All sorts of clothes, shoes and other accessories adorned shelves upon shelves of closet space. The walls were painted white and sported a few landscape pictures. On one of her nightstands, was a picture of her and Jay, holding each other. It momentarily took Jennifer's breath away. She wanted to remember all this, to remember Jay, their music, their lives, their fans. Taking a deep, cleansing breath, she put the picture down slowly and went to open her suitcase. Treading on the soft, white wall to wall carpet, made her conscious of her shoes and she bent down to take them off. Rummaging through her suitcase, she found a T-shirt and a pair of shorts. Stripping out of her clothes, she donned the nightly attire and went to the bed. Slipping underneath the covers, she sighed in bliss at the softness.
Even though, the bed on the bus was very nice, the one she was lying in at the moment didn't move and that made all the difference. Her body appreciated the change.
Jay walked into her own bedroom, yawning loudly. She was both physically and emotionally tired. She was glad to be home. Even though she loved the fans and her lifestyle, she had to admit that this break came just in time. She needed it and she knew for a fact that Jennifer needed it, her current condition or not.
She threw her small suitcase on the floor and went to open the window. This was something she had missed most about home, the familiar smells and sounds. She could swear that this place had a special scent to it that always lingered at the back of her mind. Taking a deep breath of fresh, scented air, she sighed in contentment. Memories of old times came flashing back, of good carefree times. Sometimes, she missed it. Taking one more glance out into the overgrown forest, she pulled back into the room and threw herself on the bed. The sudden softness of her mattress reminded her of how tired she actually was. Quickly getting up, she took her clothes off and got right back in bed. Covering her now naked body with the thick blanket, she soon drifted off into a relaxing sleep.
Ch. 20
Morning came and went as the two exhausted singers slept. When the clock struck 11:00 AM, Jay's sleepy eyes slowly cracked open. She stretched languidly in her bed and yawned. Looking around the room, she remembered that they were home and no one was going to pop in and tell them they had something very important to do at the moment. They had all the free time in the world and could do anything they wanted. Smiling, she got up and went into the bathroom to freshen up. Donning a pair of shorts and a black tank top, she went to see if Jennifer had woken up before her.
Knocking softly on the closed door, she let herself in when no answer was forthcoming. Jay smiled when she saw that Jennifer was in the midst of waking up. A soft murmur came from Jennifer as she turned around to face Jay. With her balled up fists she rubbed her eyes in circles like a toddler would and then yawned deeply. Blinking one eye open she said, "Hey."
"Hi, sleepy head."
Jennifer's answer was a small grunt.
"How'd you sleep?"
"Mmm...Good. You?"
"Great. So, how about I give you a quick tour of the house and then I'll make us some breakfast?"
"Sounds great." Jennifer said as she stretched.
"Well, come on then."
"Okay, just give me one second."
Jay took a seat on the bed as Jennifer went to brush her teeth and sleep tousled hair. Looking around the room, she noticed the teddy bear she had bought for Jennifer at the hospital, sitting comfortably on one of her pillows. She picked it up and held it for a moment. This time, the red inscription didn't bring tears to her eyes, it brought strength to her heart.
That was when Jennifer entered the room. She looked at Jay sheepishly and said, "Now how did that get there?"
Jay snorted and put the bear back onto the pillow. "Oh, I don't know...Maybe it was this little blond elf...?"
"Brat!"
Jay chuckled and offered her hand to Jennifer, "Come on, Milady. We have a tour to embark on..."
"But of course." Jennifer took the offered hand and followed Jay out of the room.
"We'll start at the bottom and work our way up, okay?"
Jennifer shrugged and said, "Sure."
Jay led Jennifer to the basement, which was transformed into a professional, sound-proof studio. The walls around were covered with their records, from gold to platinum. On the right, several wooden shelves were built into the wall. The shelves displayed dozens of music awards, earned through very hard work. Two chairs were positioned in front of a large mixer, which was pressed against the front of a recording booth. Forming a square, on the right stood a two-story keyboard and on the left, several guitars were propped in their stands.
"This is where we do our magic." Said Jay with a proud smile gracing her face.
Jennifer just nodded, still entranced with the beauty and sleekness of the place. "Come on, there's a lot more to see."
Heading up the flight of stairs, they reached the first floor. This floor consisted of the main living room, kitchen and dining room. Above the living room, the ceiling formed an open square so the light coming from the windows upstairs cast the area downstairs in a soft aura.
The living room area was three steps lower than the rest of the floor. It consisted of a three-piece, white leather sofa, two singles, a marble coffee table in the middle and stone fireplace in front.
To the other side of the staircase, was the dining room, which had an adjoining entrance to the kitchen. A brown oak dining table took most of the space. It was surrounded by several cupboards, which held utensils, plates and glasses. On the far side of the room to the left, stood a beautiful, black, one-winged piano. The atmosphere of the room was enhanced by the chandelier hanging above the table and the two candleholders on either side of the piano.
The kitchen was large as well and seemed fully equipped. The off white marble counter surrounded the kitchen. The soft colors were accentuated by the kitchenware made of stainless steel. The kitchen as well as the living room had access to the back yard. The back yard was nicely kept, with trees and shrubbery wherever there was free space. The middle of the yard was occupied by a large swimming pool with a sloping waterfall. A loud bubbling sound turned the duo's attention to the constantly filling, round Jacuzzi that was next to the pool.
"So, what do you think up until now?"
"I think the house is beautiful. I know I'm repeating myself but there's no other word that could describe it."
Jay smiled and said, "I'm glad you like it. Like I said, you did most of the decorating." she emphasized.
"Oh, so if I wouldn't have liked it, you'd tell me it was my own fault?" Jennifer teased back.
"Well yeah." Jay said, matter-of-factly.
"Smart ass." Said Jennifer and slapped Jay on the arm. Jay chuckled and pulled Jennifer back inside the house. "On with the tour." They climbed the curving steps to the second floor, which held the bedrooms. "This floor has only bedrooms and bathrooms on it. The two master bedrooms, where we stayed in have custom made master bathrooms. They are actually quite ridiculously large, as you noticed."
"No, I was still half asleep so I didn't notice much of anything."
"Well then, I'll show you the bathrooms later. Both look much the same with a huge sunk-in Jacuzzi and a TV set built into the wall in front. There's a glass shower that can fit four right next to it." Jay wiggled her eyebrows as she said that, making Jennifer shake her head and laugh.
"The two guestrooms are nice and very much alike, nothing unusual about them. At the end of the hall there's a laundry room and a small storage. On to the next floor?"
"Sure. We could use an elevator, you know."
Jay smirked and without answering climbed the rest of the stairs. The last floor was reserved for their almost non-existent leisure time. The room on the right hosted a pool table. The room was brightly illuminated since the front wall had top to bottom windows. The pool table stood right in the center of the room. The cue sticks hung on the wall, on a wooden stand. There were no chairs in the room but the three stools in front of the fully equipped bar. The only other room on this floor was the one Jay loved and frequented the most. All kinds of sport equipment filled the home-made gym. The walls were lined with mirrors and the far side of the room even had a small area for hand to hand combat.
"Well, this is it. We've worked our asses off to have this."
"It seems we don't even have to leave home. We have everything we need here and then some."
"Yeah, that was the idea, I believe. Now, last but not least..."
"There's more?" Jennifer asked, surprised.
"Yep. Our special collection of cars and bikes."
"Why do I think that you saying that in the plural wasn't a mistake?"
"Because it wasn't." Jay answered happily.
"Oh." Jennifer let herself be led down the stairs to the front of the house. When they stepped outside, Jennifer noticed for the first time the row of cars. "I love spending time here, fixing and renovating cars and bikes." Jennifer looked at Jay and smiled when she saw the almost childish spark of excitement in her friend's eyes. She liked seeing her friend happy and relaxed and she noticed that even though it appeared that she felt this way around her fans, this was actually where she felt most comfortable. They went from to car to car as Jay gave Jennifer a short explanation on each one. When they reached the bikes, the delighted spark enhanced tenfold. "These are my babies. This one here," She said as she motioned to one bike in particular, "is a vintage Harley Davidson. A totally restored '37 Indian Chief." She sighed, which made Jennifer chuckle slightly.
"What?" Jay asked.
"Nothing. It almost sounds like you're talking about a lover."
"Oh no. A lover was never this good." The comment made Jennifer blush but at the same time, smirk internally.
"Maybe I could take you for a drive sometime..."
"That'd be nice."
"Really?" Jay asked, surprised.
"Yeah really, why?"
"Well, cause you never wanted to go on it before."
"Oh. That actually makes me wonder. Maybe I knew something before that made me reluctant to go on it with you."
Jay chuckled and said, "You don't know that and I guess you'll just have to find out, now wouldn't you?"
Jennifer grunted and started heading back to the house. "So, what would you like to do now?"
"Hmm..." Jennifer seemed to think for a second and then answered with a smile, "Eat."
Jay snorted and said, "Figures."
"Hey!" Jennifer pouted prettily and crossed her arms over her chest. "I haven't eaten since yesterday!"
Jay raised her arms up in surrender and said, "You're right. Come on, I'll make us some breakfast."
At that, Jennifer arched an eyebrow, "Really?"
"Yes, really. I do know how to cook, you know. I'm actually pretty good at it too. So, what do you want in your omelet?"
"Umm..."
When Jay saw that Jennifer was starting to contemplate the question for too long, she said, "Oh, never mind. I'll just throw everything I see into yours and be done with it."
"Oh, okay." said Jennifer happily. "Hey, wait."
"Hmm?"
"We've been gone for three months and you want to make me an omelet with the things that were left in the fridge? Are you trying to poison me?"
Jay laughed, "No, I'm not. You do that fine by yourself with all the junk you eat. When we were on the way over, I called our house keeper, Shelly and asked for her to stock up our refrigerator and ventilate the house."
"Alright. Make the omelet good and I'll consider letting that remark about what I eat slide."
Jay clicked her heels and saluted, "Ma'am, yes, ma'am!"
"Smart ass." Said Jennifer under her breath, while trying to hold back a splitting grin.
Though it was actually closer to lunch, Jay put herself to work on their breakfast and within minutes, two steaming omelets rested on the dining table. Jennifer scrambled to the table when the smell of food wafted in the air straight to her ever-sensitive nose. With the first taste, Jennifer rolled her eyes back in her head and moaned. Jay chuckled and continued eating, "Good?"
"Mmmm...This is absolutely delicious."
"You sound surprised."
"Well actually, I am. I never imagined you could cook so well..."
"Yeah? Why is that?"
Jennifer shrugged while shoveling food into her watering mouth, "I don't know. You don't seem like a person that would be into something like cooking."
"Yeah well, I don't usually follow people's expectations of me, never have and I guess I never will. So expect the unexpected with me."
With a small smile, Jennifer nodded.
"Anything special you want to do today?" asked Jay.
"No, I'm still tired. If it's alright with you, I'd like to stay home."
"Of course it's alright with me. Whatever you want is alright with me, okay?"
Jennifer smiled shyly and nodded. Jay saw the strange mood creep onto Jennifer and decided to change the subject. She wanted to draw the playful side of Jennifer back out. This kind of thing seemed to happen to her lately, she would go from teasing and playful to shy and withdrawn. "How about we take a dip or play some pool?"
"Sure, that sounds fun."
"Great." Jay didn't know how to bring up the subject of Jennifer's parents. She didn't want to agitate her. All she ever wanted was to make her happy. "Umm...Jennifer?"
"Hmm?"
"Anytime you want to go see your parents..." She left the rest unspoken, waiting to see Jennifer's reaction. Jay knew that if and when Jennifer wanted to see her parents, she'd have to call and speak to them. She figured that they would probably know by now of what happened, from the news. However, she was positive that they didn't know any of the smaller details since they made sure to keep things quiet. If they wanted to go and visit with them, they had to be told why Jennifer didn't seem to remember them. Jay, much like Jennifer hadn't spoken to them or been on the best of terms with them for a long time. After all, it was she who took their daughter away into this life. Even though they had succeeded and made it big, Jay didn't think that Jennifer's parents ever forgave her for stealing away their little girl. This should be an interesting encounter.
"Oh, I almost forgot about that. Maybe tomorrow?" Jennifer now knew what had happened between her and her parents from what Jay had told her, but she wanted to remember. She knew that this meeting would be charged with tension but she also knew that she had to do this. Maybe It'll help get my memory back and besides, I want to make amends with them. Maybe this way, they'll get to know the real Jay and they won't resent her so much. They need to understand this was my choice as well.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes...I would like to get this first step out of the way as soon as possible. In time, this should get easier."
"Okay then, tomorrow it is." Jennifer helped Jay clear the table and asked, "Want to play a game of pool? We could go swimming if you want, but I thought maybe it'd be nicer if we did that later, in the evening maybe?"
"Sure, sounds great. Come on up, I'll give you some pointers."
Running up the stairs after Jay Jennifer asked teasingly, "Is that your way of saying that I stink at this game?"
Jay stopped mid-step and looked down, "Umm...Yep." When she saw the playful growl form on Jennifer's lips, she ran up the stairs to the top floor with Jennifer hot on her heels.
When Jennifer reached the pool room, Jay was already arranging the table. "Want anything to drink?"
"No thanks."
Jay shrugged and went to fix herself a soda. "You want to break or should I?"
"Break?" asked Jennifer confusedly.
Jay laughed so hard she had to lean on the bar for support. Jennifer frowned and pouted. She didn't think that what she said was funny. Narrowing her eyes at her still laughing friend, she started advancing on her. Jay sobered up and through small chuckles, she backed away. "Now Jennifer, you know I was just kidding..."
When Jennifer had scared Jay away from the bar, she took up her seat and her drink, smiling contently. "Why you little..." Jay grabbed Jennifer around the waist and turned the stool to face her. With her arms still around Jennifer's waist, she leaned her forehead onto Jennifer's, looked her in the eyes and smiled. "You're such a brat."
"Who me?" Jennifer asked innocently, biting her lip playfully.
"Yes you." Jay leaned forward, making both their hearts almost stop in their chests and laid a tiny, gentle kiss on Jennifer's upturned nose then backed away. Jennifer released the breath she wasn't aware of holding and followed Jay to the table. "Let's play. I'll break this time." She said and winked teasingly.
Positioning herself, she struck the cue ball with such precision and force that the balls scattered all over the table and three found their way in. After four turns in a row, Jennifer's turn to play finally came. "Okay, come here. Show me what you know." Jennifer bent over the table and positioned her cue stick. Preparing for the shot, she drew the stick backwards, almost hitting Jay, who was standing behind her and made her hit. The green surface of the pool table was the only victim of the force of the shot, since the cue ball didn't move more than an inch forward. Jay held her laughter back and scratched absently at her head. "Okay. It seems we have a lot of work to do." Before Jennifer could give an appropriate retort, Jay settled behind her and took hold of the pool stick. Positioning the stick in the correct fashion, she let Jennifer get a feel of it. "After you've chosen a target, you aim the stick to the center of the white ball. Then, you choose the strength of the shot by the distance between the white ball to our target. Since the red ball on the corner is fairly close, we won't use much force." Pulling the stick back, she helped Jennifer balance it and with her added strength, the shot was perfect. The sound of the ball hitting the pocket hole and rolling inside, made Jennifer squeak in delight. She bounced on her feet a few times then wound her arms around Jay's neck and hugged her. Jay chuckled and pulled her tighter into her arms.
And to think I was so close to losing this. Jay could feel the tears welling up in her eyes again at the memories that flooded back into her mind. Not wanting to put a damper on Jennifer's playful mood, she quietly wiped them away and let her go.
They continued playing for a few more hours until fatigue and boredom started to take over. They were surprised to see that it was already late into the afternoon. Not overly hungry, they made themselves some snacks to munch on while watching a bit of TV and then decided to take a short nap. Each went to their separate bedroom. The short nap turned into a few hours.
Ch. 21
At around 7:00 PM, Jay woke up and looked at the clock. We must have been more tired than we thought. I can't believe I slept so long. She went to Jennifer's room to find her still asleep. Deciding to let her sleep longer, she went to the kitchen to make a pot of coffee. The smell of brewing coffee woke Jennifer from her slumber. Padding downstairs, she found Jay sitting at the kitchen counter, drinking a cup of coffee. "He sleepyhead. Sit down, I'll get you some coffee."
"Thanks." Taking the hot mug into her hands, she sipped the dark liquid slowly, enjoying the taste rolling in her mouth. "I can't remember the last time I slept in the afternoon."
"Me neither. We were both tired, it's been a long three months."
"Still want to go for that dip?"
"Sure, if you feel up to it. There's nothing more relaxing then going swimming at night. Floating on the crystal clear water, bathing in the moonlight."
"That's beautiful. No wonder you're a poet."
"Thank you. But you are a poet too. We wrote most of our songs together." A sad expression crossed Jennifer's gentle features and Jay laid her hand on top of Jennifer's. "You'll remember, you'll see." Jennifer quirked a half smile and squeezed Jay's hand in thanks.
Finishing their coffee, they put the cups in the dishwasher and went upstairs to change into their bathing suits. "Hey Jay?" Yelled Jennifer from her room. Jay appeared at her door wearing a bathrobe and slippers. "Yeah?"
"Do you know where my bathing suit is?"
"Oh, sorry. Umm...Yeah, let me see..." She went into her closet and started looking around. After going through most of her clothes, she still couldn't find the suit. She sighed in disappointment and said, "I have no idea where it is."
"Damn."
"You could always go in the nude." Offered Jay.
Jennifer looked incredulously at her, "No way."
"Why? It is our pool. There's no one around for miles that could peak in on us. I could go nude too if it would make you feel better."
"I don't know."
"Come on...There's nothing better than skinny dipping in the moonlight..." Said Jay, wiggling her eyebrows.
Jennifer shook her head and after a minute's thought, she agreed. It is our own private pool. And I'm sure it's not the first time she'd ever seen me naked or me her. I just hope I don't drown from gawking at her...I'll have to remember to keep my mouth shut...With an internal sigh, they went outside. Jay switched on a few lights around the pool and the ones in the pool, giving the water a nice glow. Without as much as a second thought, Jay undid her robe, revealing a blue bikini. Searching for Jennifer's eyes, she saw that they were averted to the pool. Not wanting to embarrass her farther, she quickly stripped out of the bikini and jumped into the water. When Jennifer heard the splash she turned around. The sight of her naked friend's sleek body made her turn her gaze back to the ground she'd been studying before.
"Jennifer, come on! The water's great."
As quickly as humanly possible, Jennifer took off what little clothes she had on and jumped into the water as well. Jay swam to her and touched her arm to get her attention. "What do you think?"
Jennifer smiled and said, "It's different. Nice different."
"I knew you'd like it." With that, Jay started backing away. With both feet on the ground, she gave a strong push and did a back flip into the water, which drenched Jennifer. "Hey!" Jennifer shrieked and splashed Jay. They started a splash party and by the end of it, they were both soaking wet from head to toe.
Jennifer was still giggling when she turned around to look for Jay. She ducked into the water, looked around from the outside but she still couldn't see her. "Jay? Jay, this isn't funny!" Just when she was starting to get worried, she felt a pair of wet, cold hands wrap around her waist from behind. She let out a loud shriek and almost jumped out of her skin. Jay was laughing so hard that she almost lost her grip on Jennifer. Jennifer's frustrated slaps on her arms didn't succeed in weakening Jay's hold on her until she finally relented. Jay's laughter died down as well and she just stood still, holding Jennifer and looking up at the darkened sky.
Jennifer couldn't help but gasp at the feel of Jay's hard nipples pressing into her back. She blushed hotly and tried to pull away. Jay only held her tighter. "It's a beautiful night, isn't it?" Jay whispered softly into Jennifer's shell-like ear.
"Yeah." Was all Jennifer could utter.
Right before letting Jennifer go, Jay leaned down and placed a small, soft kiss on her neck. Jennifer whimpered and all but stumbled when she was released. The sexual tension didn't evaporate, not even when they continued with their play. The thought of Jay's naked body pressed into her back and the lingering feeling of the faint kiss to her neck, would forever be etched into her mind. Jay couldn't shake the feeling of Jennifer's smooth body in her arms either. She almost regretted doing it...almost.
They continued laughing and fooling around in the pool for long hours until exhaustion won out. By the time they finished washing themselves and donning some clean clothes, it was close to midnight. With smiles on their faces and happiness in their hearts, they bid each other good night and went to bed.
