The little blonde was hot. She was sandwiched between two attractive women, all three dancing sensuously to the slow, thumping bass beat. Hips pumped and pelvises gyrated, it was scene worthy of Sheridan Landers. All eyes that weren't closed were focused on the sexual performance.
One girl shimmied her way down the front of the muscular blonde while the other held her from behind, hips grinding in perfect synch with each other, simulating the most private of acts, in a most public place. The girl in the front stood up and Sheridan clasped her hands behind the girl's back, the girl leaned backwards, the only things holding her up were the strong hands of her dancing partner. Her breasts pointed skyward, daring Sheridan to look, to take. The girl in the back clasped her hands around Sheridan's middle, leaning herself backwards as well. It was a sight to behold, and the patrons of the club were enjoying the show immensely.
"What do you make of this?" Sharon asked Marie, never taking her eyes off of the stage.
"I haven't the slightest idea," the pizza-maker said with a confused frown.
"I thought her and that Keefer woman were an item. You said she hasn't left her side."
Marie's eyes widened along with the rest of the onlookers as the girl in the front pulled Sheridan's face into her cleavage and shook her torso. "She hasn't! She was there when I called earlier, too! Holy shit, would you look at that?"
The girl in the back twirled the blonde around and jumped into Sheridan's arms, her legs wrapped around the construction worker's back.
"Sher doesn't seem to mind at all," Sharon thought out loud.
"I wonder what happened tonight. Maybe they had a fight?"
"Who the hell knows?"
The song ended and Sheridan lowered the girl back to the stage. She was dying of thirst and needed to get to the bar. "Thanks, ladies," she said as she winked at the two girls before jumping off of the stage to loud hoots and applause from the crowd.
The two girls stood there in shock. They were certain at least one, if not both of them would be dragged off to the bathroom or the car. They were confused and they weren't the only ones. They shrugged in defeat at the redhead by the mirrors.
"Son of a bitch!" Danni cursed loudly and kicked the stage.
"Calm down, honey. Maybe she'll be back for more. You KNOW Sheridan, she can't turn down a hot woman and they are hot."
"She went to the fucking bar and now she's headed up the stairs! She turned them both down! I don't believe it!"
"Dan, please, you're getting
all blotchy."
"Hey, Sher, wait up!" Marie called after her as she stepped out onto the patio.
The blonde turned around as she stripped off her leather jacket. She pulled out a pack of cigarettes and lit one, leaning her drenched back against the cool brick wall. "I needed to cool off," she explained, dropping her jacket at her feet.
"No doubt. Damn, that was a hot little show you put on there."
"No fucking kidding. My pussy's
on fire," Sheridan leaned her head back and blew a slew of smoke rings.
"What?" Sheridan asked, her own eyes narrowing at the look on her friend's face.
"Why did you walk away from them then?"
"One chick's perfume gave me a headache and the other one was too short," she said matter of factly.
"Really," Marie said, more questions appearing in her raised eyebrows.
"What the hell are you getting at?" the blonde asked in frustration, holding her wet shirt away from her hot skin.
"Nothing," she said as plainly as she could.
Sheridan eyed her skeptically, but only for a second, She wasn't kidding -- she was a horny mess. She clenched her vaginal muscles and groaned out loud.
"What was that all about?"
"I'm fucking dying here. Damn, they turned me on," the blonde banged the back of her head against the brick wall in frustration.
Marie pursed her lips at her friend's strange actions. "Soooo, why don't you go back inside and get some relief?"
"No one looks good."
"Shit, Sher, there's at least two-dozen women in there that I KNOW you wouldn't mind fucking," Marie said as convincingly as possible. She had an idea exactly what Sheridan's problem was.
"Nah," the blonde shrugged and pushed off of the wall to find an ashtray.
Okay, Sheridan, talk to me. "So, what did you do by Keefer's all day?"
Sheridan lit up like a Christmas tree then seemed uncharacteristically embarrassed.
Interesting, Marie thought with a barely hidden smirk. "You guys have been hanging out a lot lately."
"Yeah, we are. So?"
Marie noticed that her friend hadn't looked her in the eyes since she brought up the tall woman's name. "Just curious. Sharon tells me you fixed up her john."
"Yeah. What are you, writing a book?" the construction worker asked with annoyance.
"Well, she's a hot number and all. Just wanted to know..."
"That's none of your business, is it?" Sheridan started to walk away, but Marie stopped her by grabbing her arm.
"Since when can't you talk to me, Sher?"
"Look, Keefer's different. I don't want to talk about her when she's not around. It doesn't seem right."
Oh, boy! This is news! "Oh, I get it. Respect and all."
"Yeah, respect, that's it." I guess...
Marie released Sheridan's arm and the blonde put on her jacket. They stood in silence for a while -- Sheridan stared at her boots, mulling over the last comment and Marie mused over Sheridan's mulling.
By the time Dawn and Sharon came bursting out on the patio, Sharon knew all about what Danni had planned. At first, they weren't so sure about sharing it with Sheridan, but after watching Danni chew out the two dancers, they decided that Danni should get what's coming to her.
***************
Danni stiffened her shoulders when she saw the angry blonde construction worker headed directly towards her. Aww, fuck me.
Sheridan saw red as she approached. How dare they try to make me look bad to Keefer. Hasn't Keefer had enough? Sheridan was outraged. She barely noticed Susan step in front of her frightened lover until she was standing directly before her. "Beat it," Sheridan warned the blonde.
Susan stood defiantly. "You do anything stupid and they'll throw your ass out of here," she said with a cocky smile.
"Does it look like I care?" Sheridan said answering with a more menacing smile. She didn't wait for Susan to move, she shoved her away herself.
"Hey, don't touch her," Danni stepped forward.
"Oh, you protect this piece of crap but slander Keefer to the world. Funny how that works," Sheridan spat as she poked Danni in the chest.
The redhead winced and Susan ran to get the bouncer. Sheridan's friends saw this and pulled the blonde off to the side to tell her.
"What the fuck is your problem?" Danni bellowed, now that Sheridan was securely surrounded by her friends.
The muscular blonde exploded out of the circle and grabbed Danni by the throat before she could even process what had happened. "What's my problem?" she yelled into the redhead's face. "I'll tell you what my problem is, you little shit for brains. How dare you..." she shoved Danni against the wall so hard her own teeth rattled. "What were you trying to prove with that little set up? Did you think I'd take them into the bathroom and fuck them just because you wanted me to?"
Danni gulped, looking frantically for the bouncers. Her hands dug into the construction worker's biceps, trying to pull her off.
Sheridan shook with rage as she thought about Danni telling Keefer she fucked two women in the bathroom. She didn't know why it upset her so much, but she was wild. "Or were you going to run to Keefer and shout 'I told you so'? Huh?" she tightened her grip on the red head's throat. "Do you want to see her cry? Is that what you want? Would that make you feel good?" she shoved Danni again, making her whimper. "I tell you what makes me feel good, you insensitive shit," Sheridan chuckled evilly. "Keefer makes me feel good... really good," she purred dangerously. "I just wanted to thank you for fucking that one up, Danster."
The bouncers came and Marie and Sharon wrestled Sheridan off of the petrified, yet steaming woman. They smirked as the redhead fell to her knees, gasping for air. Dawn just smiled madly, scaring Danni even more.
Sheridan was not done yet. With a strong grip on each arm, she squirmed a bit as she promised Danni one more thing, "So help me, Danni, if Keefer sheds so much as one tear over you and I find out about it, I'll fucking kill you."
The conviction in those green eyes scared them all. They had no doubt she meant it.
"Let go of me, I'm fine."
Brian, one of the bouncers put a beefy hand on her shoulder and bent down to her ear. "You have to go for the night, Sher. I'm sorry, but rules are rules. Come back later when they leave, if you want."
"No problem, Brian. I understand. I'd rather not be in the same room as her anyway," Sheridan said as she shrugged off his hand.
Danni looked a little too smug as Sheridan was led out the front door, so Sharon had to do something about it. She wrapped her long arm around Danni's shoulder and walked her away from the wall. "You know, if Sheridan finds it necessary to protect Keefer, we all find it necessary. I would watch my back, if I were you," she said with a shit-eating smile. "No one here likes you any more."
As if on cue, a whole crowd of onlookers with disgusted expressions stared at the redhead. They had no idea what had gone on, but it was well known that Sheridan had a beef with her and now the popular blonde was eighty-sixed because of her. No one was too pleased with Danni now.
Dawn and the girls moseyed back to the bar, lost in thought.
"Sheridan acted totally out of control. It really mattered to her what Keefer thought about her," Sharon said, trying to figure it all out.
"Yeah, and she wouldn't tell me anything about the two of them, either, out of respect for Keefer," Marie added.
"Respect, that's a new concept for her. Did you see how nuts she was? Guys, I think she's really in love with this woman," Sharon said nervously, "and I don't know that she can understand it."
"I know what you mean. I never saw her so serious as she is about Keefer. I thought she was going to kill Danni on the spot, all because she was going to tell Keefer that she fucked someone else."
"She didn't, though, did she," Dawn stated.
"Nope. She didn't and now we know that she slept with Keefer. Damn, Sher really cares about her and what she thinks. She never cared about that before, she reveled in her nicknames. She has a shirt that says 'slut' for shit sakes," Sharon reminded them.
"Keefer really started something. Sheridan got thrown out of the club because of her. That never happened before. It's eerie."
"Love works in mysterious ways, my friends."
*******************
Sheridan gunned the engine while waiting for the light to change. She was fuming. She'd never been so angry in her life and she couldn't justify it, either. It pissed her off even more. The light changed and her tires squealed loudly, the smoke from the burning rubber filled the street behind her. She chuckled as she glanced at it in the rear view mirror. That felt a little better to let off some steam, even if it was at her tires' expense. While en route to her apartment, she made a sudden turn up a now familiar street and stopped at the corner. Ya think she's up?
*****************
Keefer woke sometime after two and she had no idea why. She assessed herself and found she wasn't thirsty and she didn't have to pee. Fifi was lying peacefully by her side and nothing was odd. No phones were ringing and no alarms were going off, yet she felt like she had to get up. Stumbling half-awake out of her bedroom, she stopped in the living room and began to panic. Bright lights flowed into the room through the front windows and her heart sped up in fear. Who's in my driveway? Danni? She tiptoed to the door, her mouth dry and her hands sweaty and peeked out of the side of the window. "Sheridan?" she questioned out loud. Her heart was still pounding in her ears and it took her a while to actually comprehend that it was indeed Sheridan's car in her driveway. "What the hell...?"
Sheridan jumped out of her angry funk and peeled her hands off of the steering wheel when her cell phone rang. "Who the fuck is calling me at this hour?" Seeing the familiar number flashing on the phone, she couldn't help her upper lip from curving into a half smile. "Hi," she said sheepishly, now remorseful for waking the brunette up.
"Are you alright?" Keefer's worried, sleep-scratchy voice asked with concern.
"I don't know."
"Uhm, do you want to come in?"
"If it's not... I'm sorry I woke you... I can just go..."
"Sheridan, get in here."
The blonde looked at her phone for long moments after Keefer hung up on her. When she noticed the tall woman standing by the side of her car, Fifi at her side, tail wagging happily, she finally shut off the car and opened the door.
The shy smile Sheridan offered melted Keefer's heart. She felt infinitely better to see the construction worker in one piece, but she could sense the tension rolling off of her in palpable waves. Seeing no movement from the blonde, she wrapped her hands tighter around herself and shivered in the breeze. "It's cool out here, Sher, come inside."
Sheridan followed obediently, still not understanding why she even turned up this block in the first place. She was busy trying to figure that out when her phone rang and now she felt plain stupid for disrupting the tall woman's night. She closed the door behind her and leaned on it, watching Keefer rub the cold out of her arms. She instinctively shrugged off her jacket and held it out to the tall woman, feeling much better, less intrusive when she put it on.
"What happened, Sher? Is everything okay?" Keefer asked, holding out her hand to draw the uncomfortable woman away from her door.
Sheridan took the hand and allowed herself to be led into the kitchen and to a seat. She watched as Keefer started preparing coffee. She looks so adorable in her nightgown and my jacket.
"Sher?"
"I don't know why I came here. I should have just gone home. I'm sorry I woke you up... I should go," she said as she stood.
The tall woman moved in front of the blonde and put a hand on her shoulder, forcing her to sit, only then did she notice the red marks on both of her biceps.
Green eyes gazed down at what blue eyes were studying. What the fuck? I didn't even realize she was doing that. Jeez, I must have been really out of control!
Keefer ran her fingers along the marks with a very unhappy frown. Besides being bruised, Sheridan's arms were as hard as rocks, the muscles coiled and attentive. Letting her hand drift up towards a shoulder, she frowned even deeper at the tension she found there, as well. Looking her straight in the eye, she pursed her lips and then said, "Spill it. What happened?"
Sheridan let out a shaky sigh. Should she tell Keefer everything? Did she want to mention Danni? The girls? She'd never lied to the inspector before... should she start now? No, she couldn't. Danni would be sure to tell her the whole sordid story from her pathetic point of view, better she hears it from me.
Keefer became worried at the silence and the look on Sheridan's face as she sat there. "Talk to me, Sher. Are you in trouble?" she reached out and clasped hands with the blonde.
"Define trouble," she grinned somewhat.
"Sheridan, don't piss me off," Keefer said with a dangerous glint in her eye.
Ooo, that was hot! the blonde's eyes widened at her sudden errant thought.
"Do you want coffee first?"
"Yeah, I'll take some," Sheridan nodded, grateful for the extra time to gather her thoughts. When Keefer set down a steaming mug in front of her, she merely sat and stared into it.
"Sheridan, whatever happened can't be that bad, can it? Who hurt you?"
"Danni."
Keefer's eyes blazed. "Danni? Danni hurt you? What for? Why was she even touching you?" she stood up and made angry fists.
Sheridan's mouth hung open. Keefer was livid! She'd never seen this side of her before and she was totally caught off-guard. She's protecting me? What for?
"Tell me why she was touching you!" Keefer asked loudly, obviously terribly upset.
"I was, um, sorta... choking her," Sheridan whispered regretfully.
Keefer sat down with a thud, apparently not expecting that answer. "Okay, why were you choking her?" she asked unusually soft.
"It's kind of a long story," Sheridan squirmed.
"I got all night," Keefer said without any signs of sleepiness.
"Okay then," the blonde took a deep breath and proceeded to tell her exactly what happened.
"You mean to tell me you nearly choked Danni to death because of... me?" Keefer asked in disbelief.
"Hey, it's not so ridiculous. I seem to remember a few minutes ago when you looked like you were ready to behead her for touching me," Sheridan said defensively.
Keefer blushed. "Yeah, I guess I was... "
Both women got lost in thoughts of why they reacted so strongly.
Fifi couldn't stand the tension. She slinked out of the room and disappeared.
Keefer watched the expressions change on the blonde's face as she thought. I would have killed Danni if anything happened to Sheridan. Of all the stupid, childish things to do... trying to set her up in some twisted... hey... Sheridan walked away from those girls, didn't she? Maybe she did it because of me? Could that possibly be or did she really hate her perfume? She said they were hot as all get go, and she did mention they turned her on. I wonder why she didn't... maybe it was me?
Sheridan noticed the cute little grin on Keefer's face and cocked her head in question. The tall brunette stood up and moved behind her, both hands resting on her stiff shoulders. "What are you doing?"
Keefer began to knead the hard muscles, "Thanking you."
"You don't have to thank me, it's some genetic defect, I have to protect those who aren't able to protect themselves, for whatever reason. You weren't there..."
"Stop babbling, Sher. I mean for not partaking in tonight's offers."
"Huh?" the blonde's head lolled forward as Keefer's fingers worked magic on her neck.
"You didn't have sex with those girls."
Keefer's breath blew across her ear and Sheridan shivered, she didn't even realize that the tall woman bent down. "I told you why," she reminded.
"Uh huh." Keefer smirked from behind the blonde. She had a feeling that it didn't matter how they smelled or how tall they were. She had an inkling that Sheridan wasn't aware of the truth yet. A truth she was starting to comprehend herself, understanding more and more as she touched the blonde's body. I'm totally falling for you, Sheridan.
The blonde groaned indulgently as long fingers dug deeply into her shoulders, erasing the tension with expert ease. She felt very happy, lucky to be on the receiving end of such attentions. No one really ever gave her this much before and she almost felt guilty for accepting it so readily, but it felt good. So good, so she was surprised when her stomach suddenly felt ill like it had been doing for the last couple of days. It passed quickly and she sighed in relief.
"Am I putting you to sleep?" Keefer whispered into Sheridan's ear.
"Hell no, just the opposite," the blonde reached behind her and brushed the ticklish, long black hair off of her neck.
"Sorry, do you want me to tie it up?" Keefer pulled her hair behind her and came around to face the blonde, kneeling in front of her.
"No, I like it down," Sheridan stared deeply into the light blue eyes; it made her nervous to be allowed so much. She swallowed audibly.
"What's wrong?" Keefer reached out with her hand and let her fingers drift down the side of Sheridan's face.
"You are so beautiful," the blonde blurted, surprising herself. She was becoming nothing more than a bucket of mush lately.
Keefer blushed and her eyes darted away. She felt so much less than beautiful. Her hair was a mess, she just woke up and she was sure she had sleep in her eyes. "Thank you."
"Thank you for allowing me to stare at you." Why do I feel like this when I look at her? What's making me act like a total moron? Since when do I say things that retarded?
Keefer gathered herself and climbed up on Sheridan's lap, laying her head in the crook of her neck. The blonde wrapped her arms around her and they both sighed in contentment. Sheridan placed a kiss on top of Keefer's head and the brunette sighed again.
I can sit like this all night long, they both thought simultaneously.
Suddenly Fifi came trotting in and sat on the floor in front of them, making a small huffing sound. When they both turned to look at her, she dropped something on the floor at Sheridan's feet.
"Is that my bra?"
"Oh, dear god..." the brunette buried her fiery face in Sheridan's neck. Ý
"Keef?" Sheridan asked with amusement.
"I'm going to die."
"Keefer Gibson, have you been doing nasty things with my unmentionables?"
"NO! God!" Keefer pulled back and looked shocked. "I did no such thing!"
"If I had your bra, it would get quite a work out."
Keefer blushed even redder, her ears the color of cherries.
Sheridan chuckled, "Looks like I have some apologizing to do. I've been blaming Pharaoh all this time."
"I only slept with it. It smelled like you," the horrified inspector still felt the need to explain.
"You know it's your fault that I'm not wearing a bra right now."
Keefer's nipples hardened as she realized her breasts were against Sheridan's. "No?"
"Uh uh. Wanna see?" Sheridan teased, reaching down between them for the bottom of her shirt.
"Fifi's watching," Keefer sputtered.
Once Sheridan exposed her stomach, Keefer couldn't care less who was in the room watching. Her hands immediately found purchase on the hard muscles and she emitted a small groan, dropping her face back into Sheridan's neck to suck on the tasty skin.
"You have no idea how hot that makes me," the blonde whispered into dark hair.
"My hands? My mouth?"
"Your moans."
Keefer groaned again, just for Sheridan.
