Hidden Desires, Part 7

Grant sat in the living room and sighed. He had a hell of a golf game and no one to share it with. He fully intended to brag about it to Brooke, but that all fell apart as soon as he saw her. He couldn't imagine what had gotten into her. She wasn't a drinker, hardly ever touched alcohol, and there she was, passed out on the bed.

It was an interesting car ride. Brooke was right, she hummed and groaned and stretched all the way home. She even uttered "kay" a few times as if someone had asked her a question. Once he got her into the bedroom she flopped down in bed and refused to get undressed, claiming she had to get back to sleep immediately, and she did so with a big fat smile on her face. Grant shook his head in confusion. Brooke was certainly not herself, and he was very concerned. It had to be in direct correlation to her newfound need to rollerblade every night. There must be somewhere she goes, someone she sees. There has to be somebody who is making her act like this.

Grant narrowed his eyes as Brooke's long purr of contentment drifted out from the bedroom. He got up and began pacing around the house, picking things up and putting them down, not sure what he was actually looking for. He eyed Brooke's pocketbook momentarily, then felt guilty for doing so. He went to the bedroom and watched her sleep, the smile on her face made him jealous and he didn't know why. Back in the living room, he eyed her pocketbook again, this time standing in front of it. He felt bad about opening it up, but not so much that he couldn't snoop inside. He moved some things around a bit and came across a small brown paper bag. It was screaming look inside me!, so he picked it out carefully and opened it up, glancing guiltily towards the bedroom as he did. Once he lifted out the contents his eyebrow raised in question. CK-9? She carries doggie cologne in her bag? He felt like a heel, knowing the only reason she'd have it was to remove Fred's stink that he hated so much. He took the cap off and smelled it out of curiosity. Hmm, not a bad knock-off. I wonder how much she paid for this? Fishing the receipt out of the bag, he snickered. Fuzzy Belly Deli. Feeling bad about the whole thing, he replaced the spray bottle in the paper bag when something caught his eye. Brooke had written all over the bag. Cayden? Who's Cayden? That's Brooke's handwriting so it wasn't all over it when she got it. He frowned. Cayden, that's a girl's name right? Why would she write it so many times? Puzzled, he put the bag neatly where he found it and closed the pocketbook. Wandering into the kitchen, he made himself a sandwich and thought. Cayden. Could this be who she hangs out with? Cayden is a girl's name right? No, it's not a man's name, besides, she said there wasn't another man. She's never lied to me before. So... Cayden. Maybe she just works at The Fuzzy Belly Deli. He ate in silence and the more he thought the more he was determined to find out who Cayden was. Even if she does work at the shop, why would Brooke write it so many times? You only need to write it once to remember. Jeez, only teenagers do things like that when.... Grant paled and put down his sandwich. ... when they have a crush. No... Cayden is a girl's name. Brooke couldn't have a crush on a ... woman?

"Mmmm...."

Brooke's hum resonated loudly in Grant's ears. He got up and walked towards the bedroom as if he was walking his last mile. Brooke's earlier moans and hums suddenly made sense in a way he didn't want to understand, and refused to believe. Cayden... Cay.... He stood in the doorway and stared nervously at his girlfriend. She was hugging her pillow tightly. His stomach felt sick. No, stop jumping to conclusions. I don't know that any of this is true...

"Mmm, Cayden."

Grant's nostrils flared and he stormed out of the house.

Jodie was about to leave the shop when out of the blue, Denise came wandering in. The panic on Cayden's face was enough to keep her there a little longer.

"Hey Cayden, Hi Jodie." Denise smiled genuinely at Jodie and actually batted her eyelashes at Cayden.

"Uhm, hi." The shopkeeper muttered.

"So, this is The Fuzzy Belly Deli. Cute." Denise started looking around the shop.

Jodie leaned into Cayden and whispered. "I thought you wanted her? Why the panic?"

"I do, I think." Cayden whispered back.

"I like it." Denise announced, coming right up to the counter. "Don't I get a hello kiss, Cayd?"

Jodie smirked as her tall friend suddenly became all arms and legs as she tried to get out from behind the counter. "Need help there, Goofy?" she teased.

Cayden shot her a look and shimmied past her. "Heh, sorry, I wasn't expecting you." She explained, leaning over and kissing Denise quickly on the lips.

Slightly disappointed at the friendly kiss, Denise pouted. "Well, that was pretty lame." She complained.

"Cut me a break, I'm at work." Cayden said with nervous irritation.

Denise held up her hands, "Hey, no problem, I was just teasing you anyway."

"Jeez Cayd, could you be any more obnoxious?" Jodie asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Hey, I'm sorry Denise, you just caught me off guard is all." The shop keeper looked embarrassed.

"Aw, It's alright. Didn't you want to see me?"

"Uh yeah!" The tall woman said with a little too much enthusiasm. "I was just telling Jodie how I was going to call you tonight."

"You were?" Denise looked hopeful.

"Yeah." Cayden grinned.

"Cool! What do you want to do tonight?"

"Well, ladies, it's been fun..." Jodie said as she gathered her belongings. Even though she didn't agree with Cayden's wanting to have a one nighter with Denise, the shop keeper was an adult and Jodie knew it was time to leave.

"See ya, Jo!" Denise waved.

"Uh, yeah." The brunette watched as Jodie left.

"Sooo, it's just you and me Cayden." Denise purred.

"So it is." Cayden said running back behind the counter. "I just want to be here in case someone comes in." she explained.

"Uh huh." Denise wasn't buying it. She followed the tall woman behind the counter and stood in front of her. "Cayden, are you afraid of me?"

"What? Me?" she pointed to herself and laughed. "Afraid of you? No, I don't know where you would get..." She paused as Denise climbed into her lap and straddled her legs. She stiffened up like a board.

"You were saying?" The shorter woman teased.

"But I'm at work!" Cayden tried to wiggle out from underneath.

"If you're not afraid of me, you'll kiss me right now."

"Uhm, Denise, I like you...."

"Do you know how hot I am for you Cayden Riley? All I could think about was your lips, and how I want to kiss them."

A strange but cocky feeling washed over the shop keeper. "Oh yeah?" she asked with a smirk.

"Yeah. So kiss me."

Grant pulled his car out of the public garage and started driving. Where? He wasn't so sure yet. He was livid. So livid in fact that he had already created his own scenarios regarding Cayden and Brooke. Cayden was the one Brooke was running out to see every night, and Cayden was the one who corrupted his sedate, quiet Brooke. Cayden manipulated Brooke, feeding her something... some lines of shit and now she was defiant and full of attitude. Cayden made Brooke want her. Why else would his girlfriend be so enamored by her? Grant already had them in a torrid sexual affair. "Of course there isn't another man!" He sneered. In Grant's mind, Cayden was the enemy.

First the angry stockbroker stopped his car in front of Brooke's parents house, fully intent on telling them their sweet little daughter was having an affair... with a WOMAN, but as he glanced up at the parking signs, the street sign came into view and he was reminded of the address on the receipt from the Fuzzy Belly Deli. He peeled out of his spot and turned the corner with a screech of the tires.

********************

Cayden made the first move, tilting her head up and parting her lips. Denise groaned triumphantly before closing her eyes and pressing their lips together. Cayden allowed Denise to kiss her, she even opened her mouth up... giving permission to deepen the kiss. The tall shopkeeper hummed happily as Denise kissed her hungrily. Cayden hardly ever let anyone get the upper hand, but it felt different this time. Usually when women fell all over the attractive brunette, she couldn't be bothered, but this time... this time she was going to let it happen. It had been so long since Cayden kissed another woman, it felt so good.

Denise groaned again when large hands drifted up and down her sides, and rested on her hips. She tangled her hands in Cayden's long black hair, something she'd been wanting to do ever since she first saw her.

Cayden couldn't help purring when Denise sucked on her lower lip. She felt a twinge of arousal in the pit of her stomach, and after going without for so long, that tiny little twinge felt like heaven.

Hearing Cayden's pleasure gave Denise a surge of adrenaline and she pressed her body tightly against the taller woman.

Cayden was slightly confused. She suddenly had no idea why she was holding out so long. It felt great to have a woman on her lap, pressed up against her needy body, sucking her tongue. What was I waiting for? So many women offered this to me and I turned them down. Why? Am I crazy? I'm only human. I need to get laid once and a while. God this feels good. Cayden arched slightly into Denise, letting her know it was ok.

The bell over the door tinkled and Cayden suddenly realized exactly where she was. She sat bolt upright, nearly bucking Denise of her lap and onto the counter.

"Holy shit Cayden! I'm so sorry!" Denise sputtered. "I forgot where we were!" She panicked, scrambling off of Cayden's lap quickly and looked like a guilty child.

"Well pardon the hell out of me!" Jodie said in total disbelief. In all her years knowing Cayden she'd never seen her with her tongue down anyone's throat before.

"JO! Oh my god!" The shopkeeper held her chest, trying to calm her pounding heart.

"What the hell?" Jodie laughed out loud. "That's the last thing I ever expected to see just now."

Cayden took offense. "I'm capable you know."

"Oh, I never doubted that. I just know a much different, more uptight Cayden. The Cayden I know would never..."

"That's enough Jo."

"Never mind me anyway, resume sucking face. I forgot my date book." The waitress scooted into the back room with a wink to her tall friend.

"Cayden, I'm so sorry. I really wasn't thinking. That could have been anybody that walked in!" Denise said, very upset.

Cayden chuckled, thoroughly relieved that it was her friend that walked in. "Yeah, but it wasn't. It was just plain Jo."

"I heard that." Jodie called from the other room.

"I feel so stupid." Denise said covering her face.

"No, come here." Cayden crooked her finger at the woman. She couldn't have her taking all the blame, after all she was a willing participant. "I liked it. You didn't do anything wrong." She smiled.

"So I can kiss you again?" Denise asked coyly.

Cayden's body remembered the kiss and her eyes narrowed. "Absolutely."

Their lips met and Cayden groaned. She forgot just how much fun kissing had been. This time she forced entry into Denise's mouth and her tongue was immediately accepted and sucked. The tall woman slipped right back into the haze she was in before.

Jodie re-entered the shop and after getting over the initial shock of seeing Cayden making out again, decided to play games.

Both Denise and Cayden chuckled into each other's mouth as Jodie wrapped herself around them and began humping Cayden's leg.

***************************

Grant looked through the window of The Fuzzy Belly Deli and nearly fell over onto the sidewalk. What is this? Some freaking cult!?

The door flung open and the three women separated in a flash.

"Which one of you freaks is Cayden?" Grant asked loudly, and angrily.

Jodie raised her eyebrows and tried hard not to look at Cayden. "Who the hell are you?"

"Are you Cayden?" He asked again, coming closer to Jodie.

Cayden stepped in front of Jodie. "I'm Cayden. What's your problem?"

Grant looked her up and down and was unable to deny that she was one good looking woman. However, her eyes were like ice chips and scared him just a bit. Gathering bravado, he took another step forward and was standing in Cayden's personal space. "You stay the hell away from my woman! Do you hear me?" He punctuated his question by poking her in the chest.

The tall woman clenched her jaw and fists. "What? Who?" she asked in angry confusion.

"I can't believe you have to ask that! How many women do you have? What the hell are you anyway?" Grant yelled, his fury scaring Denise.

"Listen to me, buddy, I don't know what the hell your talking about, so either you start explaining, or you get the fuck out of my shop!" Cayden began walking, backing him up as she did.

Grant's hostility was evident as his eyes burned into Cayden's. "What ever you did to my girlfriend, you better just undo it! She was perfectly fine until she met you! You don't need any more, she's not a slut." he yelled, eyeing both Jodie and Denise

"Hey!" Jodie began to protest when Cayden cut her off.

"Undo what?" Cayden yelled back in frustration. "To who?"

"Brooke! You brainwashed her or something!"

Jodie and Cayden shared terribly surprised looks.

"Brooke?" Cayden asked, both eyebrows raised.

"Don't play stupid with me, you know who she is!" Grant spat.

"Brooke." Cayden repeated, trying desperately to figure out what this man was talking about.

"You listen to me, I don't want you anywhere near her or else." He threatened.

Cayden had enough. Her nostrils flared and she narrowed her eyes dangerously. "No, you listen to me," she growled, pushing him towards the door. "I suggest you get the fuck out of my shop before I do something I'll regret."

Jodie ran to open the door and Cayden threw Grant out of it.

They all watched as he yelled his way to his car and peeled away.

Jodie shook her head in disbelief. "Brooke? What the hell did you do Cayden?"

"Me? I didn't do anything! I don't know what he's talking about!" Cayden demanded.

"Ok, I believe you."

"Who the hell is Brooke?" Denise asked.

"The blonde on rollerblades from the park." Jodie explained.

"You didn't do anything to her and she looked at you like that?" Denise asked skeptically.

"I swear!" Cayden insisted.

"What was that all about then?"

Cayden looked to Jodie who had no answers and they both shrugged

"The question is," Cayden said, "What did Brooke tell him I did?"

"I don't like this, Cayd." Jodie said with furrowed brows. "Why would Brooke tell him anything at all? Especially naming you in particular."

"Who the hell knows? I'll find out though." Cayden swore. She was angry as all hell and not about to let this pass.

"Cayd, I have to go, really. I'm going to be late for work."

"Yeah, whatever." The tall woman replied with a deep frown.

"Do you want me to go too?" Denise asked.

"Yeah please. I really want to be alone now."

*******************

Brooke held great handfuls of silky black hair in her clenched fists, pulling Cayden closer to her breast. The blonde's legs tightened around the tall woman's body as she pressed up into Cayden, stoking the fires of her arousal. Brooke groaned loudly, urging Cayden to bite. Sweat formed between the blonde's breasts and on her upper lip, her need was great and her sex was aching for relief. "Please Cayden." she moaned, pinning the dark head down. Vibrant blue eyes looked up at her hungrily as the brunette hummed around the nipple between her lips.

Brooke watched in anticipation as Cayden released her nipple and slid lower, leaving a trail of kisses and gooseflesh in her wake.

"What, Brooke? Tell me what you want."

The deep husky voice caused Brooke's hips to surge. "Taste me." she breathed.

Cayden smirked crookedly as she lowered her head. Brooke watched the wet pink tongue dart through her glistening lips and she shuddered. "Oh Cayden..."

Brooke jumped up in bed, sweating and shaking. No one had ever done to her what Cayden was about to do. The excited pounding of her heart woke her from her dream and Brooke wondered if she wasn't having a heart attack. "Oh god... so real..." She stood up shakily and pulled her dress over her head. Swaying slightly, she was reminded of the morning's alcoholic activities. She groaned as her head began pounding as violently as her heart. "Owww.. oh.. Advil." she muttered and trudged her way into the bathroom. Retrieving the pills, she swallowed them down with a handful of water from the sink. "Shit, is this what a hangover feels like?" She looked at herself in the mirror and grimaced. "Ew." she whined.

Back in the bedroom, the air conditioner greeted her wet body, reminding her of her dream. She blushed despite being all alone and giggled nervously. "I can't believe I dreamt that, No one's ever done... that before. I really wanted Cayden to do it though." With that thought Brooke became suddenly aware of what had been going on between her legs. Her eyes narrowed and her hand slipped inside her panties. "Wow!" she exclaimed. "I'm soooo wet.. wow... and horny. Very horny. Oh Cayden, what have you done to me?" she asked as she lay down and started moving her hand steadily. "Mmmm, .. yesss... " she hissed at the sensations she caused. "I can't believe how much I want that woman." was her last lucid thought.

******************

Cayden paced around the shop in a bad mood. She couldn't imagine what Brooke had told her boyfriend to make him so angry. She really couldn't fault the guy for being so upset though, he thought there was something going on between Brooke and her. However, she had every right to be angry with the blonde. What did she say? What could she say... about anything? There's nothing going on? "Dammit!" she smacked her hand on the counter. "With all that shit about Brooke, I shoved Denise off. Now I'll never get laid." Cayden stopped pacing and thought about how stupid that sounded. "Of course I will. Hell, she wants me, and her kissing really turned me on. Then again, probably anyone's kissing would turn me on at this point, now that my body remembers everything." The tall woman went back to her chair and turned up the Tv. "Damned Brooke. What did I ever do to you?"

**********************

Wade was about to leave when Jodie showed up. He invited her in to wait for Cayden, explaining that he had a date.

"Looking sexy in that silk handsome."

Wade twirled around, marched back and forth in the living room, flipped imaginary hair, all the while keeping his cheeks sucked in and his lips pursed like a sickly supermodel. "Thanks, It's Cayden's. Why are you done with work so early?"

"I'm on break. I had to talk to Cayden about something,"

"Ooo what? Is it juicy? Should I know?" he asked excitedly.

"Sorta. This guy comes barging into the shop today..."

"Guy? What guy? What did he look like?"

"Wade..."

"Okay, just asking."

"He was kinda cute actually. Muscular, handsome... anyways, that's not the point. He comes in yelling and poking at Cayden, accusing her of corrupting his girlfriend."

Wade burst out laughing. "Our Cayden? Corruption?? Oh my god! That's hilarious!"

Jodie snickered. "Oh, I know! Certainly not what I expected either. It turns out, it's the one and only Brooke's boyfriend."

Wade stopped laughing and looked confused. "HUH?" His eyebrows furrowed deeply.

"That's what I said!" Jodie nodded at his confusion.

"What did Cayden do?"

"What could she do? She was confused, was being accused of something she didn't do, and was probably flustered from sucking face with Denise. She argued with him and threw him out."

"Sucking face with Denise?" Wade asked, looking bewildered.

"Oh, you have no idea. Right there in the shop. Denise on her lap.. it was hot!"

"Cayden?"

Jodie nodded. "Yep, and if I didn't see it with my own eyes I wouldn't believe it either."

"In front of you!?" Wade asked, totally astonished.

"Well, I walked in on them... twice."

"Oh my god!"

"Yeah, and so did this guy. He probably thinks she's some kind of gigolo. After all, I was humping her leg too."

"You were humping her leg?" He fell into hysterics again. "Cayden.. a gigolo.."

Wade and Jodie laughed their heads off and failed to hear Cayden come home.

"What's so funny?" She asked.

"You... a gigolo..." Wade said between chortles.

Cayden narrowed her eyes. "Alright. Start explaining." She folded her arms across her chest and tapped her foot.

"Oh, I told him what happened today. Cayd, listen, I've been thinking..."

"Dangerous Jo, what did I tell you..."

"Hardy har. No really, maybe Brooke told him that something was going on as an excuse to leave him."

Cayden thought about it as she sat down on the couch. "Maybe, but why me? Why did she specifically name me? She could have made anyone up out of the blue. I don't need that shit."

"No, but maybe she wants something between you two and it was the only thing she could think of."

"Still Jo, am I supposed to be flattered? And what's this gigolo stuff?"

"Well he did walk in at a most inopportune time, and he already thinks you're doing his girlfriend."

Cayden smirked. "Yeah, that is kinda funny."

Wade's cell phone rang and he jumped. "I gotta go. Cayden you will be giving me details later."

"Yeah yeah... and remember, no pit stains!" she yelled after him as he shut the door.

"So, how pissed are you at Brooke?" Jodie wondered.

"Pretty pissed. Him, I can understand, but her? I still don't get it. Why me?"

"She wants you, Cayd. You already know that, you just don't want to admit it. Plain and simple, she wants you and needed an excuse. I bet she didn't even know that she liked women until you."

"Jodie, now you're just making things up."

"The poor girl." Jodie said sadly.

"What poor girl?" Cayden asked in disbelief. "Brooke?"

"Think about it Cayd. If she needed an excuse, imagine how awful her relationship must be. What must be going on in her life, what's happening now that he knows her secret."

Cayden's mood darkened. "Jo, you don't think he's hurting her physically do you?"

"Who knows. You saw how angry he was at you... imagine how he's making her life right now."

"Aw crap Jo! I wanted to be mad at her, and now I feel bad for her."

"Anytime, Cayd."

Cayden shot her a look. "What are you doing here anyway?"

"I can't stay, I gotta go. I just wanted to tell you what I thought."

"Yeah, you just didn't want me to be mad at Brooke."

"No, it doesn't pay. Oh and also, you said you were going to do something with Denise tonight."

"I did?"

"Yes, so get on the phone and make plans before she eats dinner."

Cayden watched Jodie leave and thought about doing something with Denise. She frowned and cursed under her breath. Alright Cayd, it's your call. Yes, or no. Do you want it bad enough to do the mating dance? She pictured Denise in her mind and pursed her lips. She thought about her voice, her clothes, her body, and still nothing. She recalled the kissing and her stomach got butterflies. Well, it's not about Denise at all is it. It's all about sex. Denise is in it for the long haul, I'm not. Although, she really wants me. I bet I could convince her. What am I saying? Jesus, I'm not like that. I can't do that. If I'm going to make that kind of effort, what I need is someone who makes my knees go weak, and my mouth dry. Cayden chuckled dryly. "Good luck. No one's done that to you in a long time." She grimaced guiltily. "Well that's not entirely true is it." she closed her eyes and scrubbed her hands over her face. You'd be lying to yourself if you didn't admit it. "Goddamned Brooke."
