Hoosier Daddy by Maxx Redwood [Original/Alt/Incomplete]
Jill Fryman (her friends call her Friday) is a Line Supervisor at a truck manufacturing plant in a small southern Indiana town. Life on the assembly line is almost as predictable as her love life. When it comes to matters of the heart, Friday always seems to be making the wrong choices. Things go from bad to worse when a sultry labor organizer from the U.A.W. sweeps into town to try and unionize the plant, right after it's been bought out by a Japanese firm. Sparks fly on and off the line as the two women fight their growing attraction for each other against a backdrop of monster trucks, pork chop suppers, and a bar called "Hoosier Daddy."

as the first novel I wrote in English and the first novel I published, Backwards to Oregon still holds a special place in my heart. Judging from the reader e-mails I get, Luke's and Nora's story also resonated with readers.
So I'm very pleased to announce that Backwards to Oregon has just been re-published by Ylva Publishing.
During months of rewriting, revising, and editing, I found many little—and not so little—things that needed to be changed.
I also added four or five new scenes that were missing in the first edition and that give us more insight into the characters.
We added one of the "Oregon" short stories, A Rooster's Job, to the book to give readers a glance into the Hamiltons' lives after the end of Backwards to Oregon.
