Jill Fryman (her friends call her Friday) is a Line Supervisor at a truck manufacturing plant in a small southern Indiana town. Life on the assembly line is almost as predictable as her love life. When it comes to matters of the heart, Friday always seems to be making the wrong choices. Things go from bad to worse when a sultry labor organizer from the U.A.W. sweeps into town to try and unionize the plant, right after it's been bought out by a Japanese firm. Sparks fly on and off the line as the two women fight their growing attraction for each other against a backdrop of monster trucks, pork chop suppers, and a bar called "Hoosier Daddy."

"Victoria's Very Awkward Love Story" is out! For an excerpt, please go here:

Buying info (Nook and print coming ASAP, check for info):

Here's the blurb: Why would Victoria Dourne strike up a friendship with Felicianna Grey, the woman who almost ruined the lives of Victoria's mother and stepmother? What started as mere curiosity on Victoria's part has developed into much more. She and Felicianna have been chatting online a few months, and Felicianna thinks Victoria is a twenty-five-year-old secretary from Chicago, not the eighteen-year-old girl she is. They've bonded over the fact they're both in love with women they can't have. They've even engaged in cybersex with each other. The online thing is getting old, though, and when Felicianna shows signs of losing interest, Victoria figures the time has come to tell the truth—in person.

Felicianna is horrified when Victoria confesses all. An eighteen-year-old girl! The stepdaughter of Felicianna's former best friend. The daughter of a woman Felicianna despises. This was what happened when Felicianna took risks. When she decided she could trust someone.

Victoria begs Felicianna to give her a chance. Just one chance. A dinner. If, after that, Felicianna still wants Victoria to stay away, she will.

Can Victoria persuade Felicianna to look past the trappings of age and circumstances to find her way back to the woman she thought she knew online? Can Victoria and Felicianna surmount their many, many obstacles?

Hope those of you who buy it have happy reading!

** You don't need to have read Books 1 or 2 in the Strange Bedfellows series. This Book 3 can stand alone, although reading Book 1 may help you better understand some aspects of "Victoria's Very Awkward Love Story."

Announcement from Jae
as the first novel I wrote in English and the first novel I published, Backwards to Oregon still holds a special place in my heart. Judging from the reader e-mails I get, Luke's and Nora's story also resonated with readers.

So I'm very pleased to announce that Backwards to Oregon has just been re-published by Ylva Publishing.

During months of rewriting, revising, and editing, I found many little—and not so little—things that needed to be changed.

I also added four or five new scenes that were missing in the first edition and that give us more insight into the characters.

We added one of the "Oregon" short stories, A Rooster's Job, to the book to give readers a glance into the Hamiltons' lives after the end of Backwards to Oregon.

Backwards to Oregon is now available through Smashwords and through Amazon, and it will soon be available from many other online bookstores and as a paperback.

My publisher, Ylva Publishing, is giving away a free e-book of Backwards to Oregon. Head over to Ylva's blog to participate in the giveaway.

I hope you enjoy the revised and expanded edition.
