DISCOVERIES PART 3 continued again and again

“ I see...so that’s why you wanted me , because I was pleasing to your eyes?”
“ Yes, plus I could not get the image I had of you that first day after you
challenged me, out of my mind. You writhing beneath me panting and begging me
to give you release after I unmercifully tortured and punished you with my
passion, but yet not allowing you to release, forcing you to see who was in-
charge of whom. I have heard it said many times by many different people since
you have been here, that you were made to be made love to. I could not agree
more. The need I had for you was deep and all consuming of my every waking
thought, and I never thought anything or anyone would ever be able to affect
me in such a way or at least not any further than you had already affected
me....but Diana the day you offered yourself to me, your mind, body and soul
and most of all, your love....well I discovered that you have affected me to
my very being, and I could not love you more.” Xena Said pulling Diana into
her arms and wrapping them around Diana’s body as the two had now made it to
the area of the garden where they could lay back on a reclined type bench.
Diana and Xena laid back with their feet stretched out before them crossed at
the ankles, with Xena still waiting for Diana to tell her. Finally after a few
minutes Xena’s patiences for waiting had faded.
“ Di...”
“ Xe..” You go.”
“No go ahead Diana.” Xena ordered.
Diana smiled a half smile and then taking in a slow breath she spoke what she
was feeling....” Xena, I’ve been thinking about this voyage tomorrow,
and.....and I just don’t know.”
“ You don’t know what Diana?”
“ I don’t know if I’m really ready for this.”
“ What? going off by yourself?” Xena asked raising a questioning brow at
Diana.
“ Yes. I mean no, I mean...well Xena you know better than anyone what my life
was like. I mean no matter what or where I went at least one of my ex-Chosen
were always with me, it didn’t matter if I went to a different country, or a
different time, one of them were always there.But now....”
“ But now what Diana?”
“ But now there won’t be, I mean I’ll be by myself....hmmmmn...now isn’t that
ironic, I remember a time before I meant you I would have wanted nothing more
but to go places without any of them and you, but now I find myself feeling
scared....does that make sense?”
Xena hugged Diana closer to her and gave her a squeeze of comfort, and then
said in a gentle voice.” Yes Diana it makes a lot of sense, your not use to
such things, but I must tell you kitten, I don’t know where you got the idea
that you would be by yourself, but I’m here to tell you it isn’t going to
happen. Either you will be here with me or I will be there with you.”
“ But what about the traveller problem Xena?”
“ What problem.” Xena said feigning forgetfulness.
“ You know the fact that we don’t know if we could make it work with me on the
ship and you here?”
“ Oh...yeah, that problem, well I’m still working on it, hopefully I will be
able to make it work, or else we’ll have to go to Rah’s old planet and get
something that would.” Xena teased.
Diana gave a playful swat to Xena’s thigh and then continued.
“ A.N.Y.W.A.Y..... if you don’t get it to work then we will not be able to see
each other for two weeks.”
“ I know, but hopefully I will get it to work, I think I’m close, but if I
don’t get it to work before you get there then you can use one of them to come
back here once you arrive, and then I can come there, but either way, you
won’t be by yourself....but, you know I really don’t want you to go, so if you
want to change your mind, I won’t have a problem with it, you know me, I’d
rather you stay right here by my side, that way I can keep an eye on you.”
Xena stated matter-of-factly.
“ I know you would, but you understand why I want to do this, right?”
“ Yes Diana, I understand, and I will support you in this, I just wanted you
to understand that I still don’t want you to go...I’m going to miss you like
I’ve never missed anyone or anything.”
“ Xena....It’s not like I leaving you for someone else, or that we’re breaking
up...for Gaia sakes woman...we just got together, I think we have at least a
few more years to go before that happens.” Diana teased as she gave Xena a
humorous gaze.
“ Xena pinched Diana’s thigh and then said a few more years Consort?”
“ Ow! yes like the second year after forever.’ Diana beamed at Xena.
“ Ha,ha,ha, very funny, now come here Consort.” Xena ordered as she pulled
Diana over top of her and begun to stroke Diana’s behind.
Diana laid her head on Xena’s chest and listened to her heart increase with
every stroke of her hands on Diana’s behind.
“ Xeennaaa.....?”
“ Yes Consort?” Xena asked with a huskiness sound to her voice.
Diana heard it and decided to play on it. Just as Xena took her hands off of
Diana’s behind for a moment to get more comfortable, Diana jumped off of Xena
and went to stand out of arms length.
“ What are you doing?” Xena asked with knitted brows.
“ Nothing, I just thought we’d walk a bit.” Diana said distractly as she
lightly caressed at a thigh high flower.
Diana pretended to not notice Xena moving to stand up, but she casually moved
away pretending to be interested in the flowers that were around them.
“ Come here Consort, I have other plans for us today....the whole day, and I
don’t want to waste any of the day without carrying out those plans.” Xena
said with a look of agitation showing in her eyes.
Diana pretended to not see it and continued in her play.
“ What’s the plan?” Diana asked innocently.
“ What do you think the plan is CONSORT?” Xena said emphasizing her focus.
“ Hmm....to spend the day together?”
“ yes, but that’s not all.”
“ What more is there?”
“ What do you think Consort?”
“ Hmm...” Diana said as she brought a finger to her lip and tapped against it
as if thinking.
“ Hmm....to talk and just enjoy each other?” Diana casually asked as she tried
to contain the laughter that was trying to make it’s way to the surface.
Xena was now standing and walking slowly towards Diana as Diana walked
casually, but kept a pace to match that of Xena’s pace.
“ Yes Consort those things also, but one plan requires less clothes.”
“ AH.... You want to go swimming...well Xena why didn’t you say so, let’s go.”
Diana said as she then turned and purposefully begun striding towards the
lake.
“ Consort that’s not what I’m talking about.” Xena called to Diana to stop her
progress from the garden.
Diana stopped and composed her face so that she was no longer wearing the grin
that had broke out on it while she headed away from Xena, then she turned and
said in all innocents..... “ So what do you mean by less clothes?”
Xena narrowed her eyes and raising her hand she motioned for Diana to come
back to her. Diana pinched her lips to prevent the grin from returning as she
slowly headed back towards Xena. Diana stopped a few paces outside of Xena’s
reach and then flashed a dubious smile at Xena.
Xena smirked at the expression and then made a challenge.... “
O.k....Consort...you want to play huh?”
Diana nodded her head in agreement. Xena stood with her fist now on her hips
as she studied Diana.
“ Ok....but I name the game and terms, deal?”
“ No that’s not fair.”
“ either we do it my way, or I just take my liberties of my mate?”
Diana crossed her arms in playful disapproval, but then she said...” Ok, fine,
so what’s the game?”
“ well if you can keep from blushing for the next candlemark, then I’ll allow
you to have your way with me, whatever you want me to do or whenever, ok?”
Diana’s eyes narrowed at first and then she asked....” Before I answer that,
what happens if I can’t keep from blushing, and if I do win, you’ll go along
with ANYTHING I want?”
“ If you lose then you will do what I want, you won’t talk, and you’ll keep
your hands behind your back the rest of the day and night and if you don’t
then I will tie them. But if you win then yes I will do whatever you want.”
“ And whatever I say?”
“ Your pushing it Consort.” Xena warned.
“Ok, ok, but I don’t think it’s a fair challenge?”
“ Why not?” Xena asked somewhat incredulously
“ Because you said anything I want?” Diana stated.
“ Ok, anything.”
“ It’s still not fair.” Diana said.
“ Now why?”
“ Like you don’t know.”
“ I do know, but that’s why I only made it an hour.”
“ hmm.... ok deal.”
“Good. Now come here.”
Diana walked to Xena and Xena wrapped her arm around Diana’s waist and bent
her backwards and laid a kiss on her that curled her hair. Xena broke the kiss
with a smack of her lips and an ...” AH!!” as she brought Diana back upright.
Diana swayed in Xena’s arms as she tried to focus and steady herself, Xena let
go of Diana and Diana plopped to the ground on her behind.
“ Ow! now why did you do that?”
“ I thought you were steady.” Xena teased as she reached down to help Diana up
to her feet.
“ Uh-huh? sure you did.” Diana accused.
Xena whipped Diana around to where her back was against Xena's front and Xena
moved Diana’s hair off of one of her shoulders and begun to kiss Diana’s ear
and neck. Diana shivered at the provocative kisses, but she did not blush. For
the next 50 minutes or so, Xena played with Diana, teasing her body in ways
that would usually make her blush to the tips of her hair, but Diana was not
responding in that way and Xena was starting to get concerned.
Then Xena thought of the reason why Diana would not respond with the blush.
Xena turned Diana around and rendered a suspicious type look at her.
“ What?” Diana asked somewhat startled by the intense gaze.
“ Open your hand.” Xena ordered
“ Why?” Diana asked seeing her plan was about to be discovered.
“ Because I said so.” Xena stated.
“ Ok..there.” Diana said opening one of her hands.
“ Now open the other.”
“ Why? you said open my hand, that’s what I did.” Diana reasoned.
“ Now I’m telling you to open the other hand.”
Diana chewed her lip and started to put her hands behind her back, but Xena
stopped her.
“ uh,uh,uh, show me NOW!” Xena growled.
Diana slowly opened her hand and Xena saw the large thorn laying in Diana’s
hand, with signs that it had been used many times on Diana’s palm. Xena then
looked up over her brow as she cocked her head and raising an accusing brow,
Diana Blushed.
Xena smirked and then said...” You lose Consort.” Xena’s eyes now showing the
anticipation in them.
“ No fair.” Diana complained.
“ Fair?! your the one who cheated.” Xena chided.
“ Well you knew I couldn’t keep from blushing with you, I pretty much blush at
almost anything you do or say, especially when you look at me in certain ways,
so I thought it was only fair to even the odds a bit.”
“ Well it doesn’t matter you lost, now strip out of the rest of those clothes.
“Xena ordered.
“ But Xena?”
“ No, no talking Consort, strip and put your hands behind your back..” Xena
scolded.
Diana chewed her lip and then stripped out of the rest of her clothes.
“ Hmm...sooo.. beautiful.” Xena praised as she circled around Diana looking up
and down the nude figure standing in front of her blushing a beautiful shade
of wine.
The rest of the day and night Xena had her way with Diana, while Diana was
allowed pleasures from her love. By the time the two allowed Morpheus to take
them, they were both drenched in perspiration, and all they could do was slip
into unconsciousness the rest of the night.
The next morning Xena awoke first as usual but she stayed in the bed until
Diana awoke, in the meantime she just watched Diana sleep and with a feathery
light touch, she caressed Diana’s cheeks, and watched as Diana nestled closer
to the touch, along with a contented smile fixed on Diana’s face.
Xena traced the outline of Diana’s cheeks and lips where she lingered for a
few minutes, she admired the softness of them and their sensualness, Xena
couldn’t resist the draw of kissing them, so she leaned over and ever so
lightly she kissed them.
Diana unintentionally licked her lips at the same moment Xena was kissing her
and Xena trembled at the surprising action by Diana’s sweet tongue.
“Hmmm...nice even when your asleep.“
Xena then ran her fingers down Diana’s chest and lightly over it. Xena hoped
that Diana would wake soon, she was starting to get restless. Finally when
Xena ran her fingernails over Diana’s nipple Diana moaned and Xena watched the
peak firm up.
“ Ooo...I like seeing that.” Xena purred, and then leaned over and flicked her
tongue over the tightening peak, and Diana moaned at the sensation and slowly
she opened her eyes. As she did Xena started to take more and more of her
nipple into her mouth and Diana let out a big gasp of air just as the peak was
covered by the warm recesses of Xena’s provocative mouth.
“ Xeeenaaa.....?”
“ mmuhum?” Xena asked without removing her mouth.
Diana shivered from the vibration, and then said in a quiet voice.....” We
don’t have time for this Xenaaaa...”
Xena removed her mouth and looked into Diana’s eyes and with a firm tone she
stated in no uncertain terms......” We have all the time I want us to have
Consort.”
Diana kept her eyes locked on Xena when she heard the tone and with a lowering
of her eyes she submitted to Xena’s demand.
“ Good girl, now where was I? Ah I remember.” Xena then returned to what she
was during and within moments she had Diana moving and moaning under her.
Xena and Diana made love once more before they got up out of bed. Later
after they cleaned up from their morning activity. The two of them finished
packing some last minute things and they headed for the Dining hall to meet up
with Nebula and Gabrielle and Ephiny and Solaris, and Eponin, and Xena’s
advisors for a farewell meal. Diana didn’t want a formal going away, she asked
Xena to allow it to be just a small gathering instead, so Xena allowed it.
Before Diana left the bedchamber she remembered something and went to one of
the cabinets and opening it and reaching for her larger saddlebag, she pulled
it out and took it over to the table. Xena stood watching Diana and wondered
what she was doing.
“ Ah..here it is.” Diana exclaimed excitedly.
“What is it?” Xena asked looking at the curious looking instrument.
“ It’s a tool that was used on Rah’s planet to help with building unique type
buildings and things...it’s like a high tech glue type of gun, but it doesn’t
produce glue as such..it more or less merges materials so that a person
wouldn’t be able to see where one started and the other ended, it’s quite a
wonderful thing.” Diana beamed.
“ But how is one of those things going to help with all of the building?” Xena
asked practically.
“ That’s the best part of this thing, it has duplicating abilities, meaning
that I can make as many of these as I want, the only difference would be that
once all of the building was done, the duplicates would disintegrate, also
they are not capable of duplicating, only the original one is...this one.”
Diana said turning the instrument around for Xena’s inspection.
“ So this is how you built the beautiful buildings?”
“ Well it helped, I designed all of them and then I used this to bring them
about.”
“ Ok, anything else?”
No, I think I got everything I’ll need, including some other wonderful things
from Rah’s planet.”
“Oh, like what?”
“ Just some safety things, that I had placed on all of the ships, and I
instructed all of the navigators in their use.”
Xena cocked her head a bit to look at Diana, then with a raised brow she
asked.....” Are you going to tell me what those safety things are? And I think
I'll check out this saddlebag while your gone to see what else you have in
there.”
“ Yes I plan on telling you, but I’ll do that later, also have fun, just be
careful with the things in there, some of them I’m not even sure how to work
them properly yet?”
“ Hmmm.....o.k...let’s go.”
Diana grabbed Xena’s hand and the two women walked out and went to the dining
hall. When the two arrived everyone there rendered their respect and Diana and
Xena joined the other women at the Royal table. Diana noticed that the Amazons
were there also, which she did not expect to see, but she smiled at them as
her and Xena passed.
After taking their seats everyone was told to sit and the servants begun
serving.
“ So Diana, are you looking forward to leaving today on your voyage?” Ephiny
asked.
“ I’m looking forward to going yes, but I’m not looking forward to leaving
Xena and Gabrielle and everyone else, I still find myself trying to talk
myself into accepting that it is only a temporary thing, and I will be back
before I know it.”
“ Has it worked?”
“No. But that’s ok, I’ll be fine.”
“ Of course You will.” Ephiny assured.
Diana smiled at Ephiny and then took a drink of her orange juice. Xena didn’t
say much she just watched and studied Diana as Diana spoke to everyone who
addressed her even the advisors and Amazons.
“ Your Highness....I was wondering if you are or plan on taking any Amazons
with you?”
“ To be honest I have not even thought about that.” Diana confessed.
“ I have.” Xena stated. “ As a matter of fact My first Lt Miki and Solaris,
and Eponin will both be accompanying Lady Diana, they will be her personal
bodyguards, as well as a whole ship of My soldiers. I thought it only made
sense to have some of you along since Princess Gabrielle is an Amazon now.”
Diana squeezed Xena’s thigh and gave her an appreciative smile. Xena gave
Diana a studied gaze, and then caressed her cheek. After the meal was over and
everyone had said their goodbyes, The Royal table departed for the docks to
see Diana off.
Ephiny was the first to speak her best wishes to Diana.
“ Your Highness.... Diana, I will miss you, but I wish you all the best on
this voyage and The Amazons and myself will ask a special blessing for you and
the crews.”
“ Thank you Ephiny, that is very kind of you, I shall miss you as well as the
Amazons, your all like an extended family to me.” Diana admitted as she was
then embraced by Ephiny .
Xena still said very little, but continued to study Diana. Gabrielle was the
next to speak.
“ Sis....I’m going to miss you soo much....”
“ I’m going to miss you also Gabrielle, but I won’t have to worry about you,
you’ll be in great hands.” Diana said cocking her head towards Xena.
Gabrielle gave a brave smile and then said in agreement....” Your right, but I
will worry about you everyday. You promise me you’ll be careful.” Gabrielle
said in a solemn tone.
“ I promise sis...I love you.”
Gabrielle lost her words with Diana’s confession and she buried her head in
Diana’s arms and cried. Diana’s eyes were already moist from everything else,
but now her own tears started to roll as she held Gabrielle. Finally Gabrielle
quieted and just as they were breaking their embrace Diana quietly said... By
the way since I won’t be here for your birthday, I have a gift for you.”
“ Really?” Gabrielle beamed as Diana produced a beautiful box from inside of
her cloak.
Gabrielle opened the box and just stared at the gift in awe, then she looked
back up at Diana and said through a tight throat.....” It’s beautiful, where
did you get it?”
“ I made it, I wanted to give you something special for you to write your
thoughts and feelings afterwards.” Diana said discreetly.
Gabrielle instantly understood and she choked out....Thank you for this and
for that, I will forever be grateful to you sis. and I will treasure both, as
I treasure you and Xena. “ Gabrielle then hugged Diana again and Diana kissed
the top of Gabrielle’s head and whispered ....” Your welcome sis....Happy
birthday.”
Finally when Gabrielle had said her final goodbyes to Diana Xena turned to
Nebula and Eponin and Solaris and said....” Diana will meet you on the ship in
a few minutes.”
“ Yes My Lord.” The three women said in unison as they said goodbye to Ephiny
and Gabrielle and then headed for the ship.
Xena then took Diana’s hand and lead her away from the others, and then
turning she said.....Are you sure you want to do this?”
“ Yes, but thank you for asking.”
“ Your welcome. Diana I’m having a hard time with this, after all of these
years we’ve been together, and all the things we’ve been through, I never
thought I would willingly let you go anywhere without me...especially for such
a long period of time. But of course I never thought I would be mated to
anyone either.” Xena smirked.
“ I’m just as surprised about this also, but I’m glad you decided to let me do
this,I know this was hard for you...but I’m not leaving you, I am yours, and
you my Love, are mine, so don’t go falling in love with someone else while I’m
gone.” Diana said teasingly, trying to lighten the mood.
Xena bit the inside of her cheek and then poked Diana in the chest slightly
and said with all honesty....” It will never happen Consort, you are stuck
with me for all time.”
“ Well I guess I can handle that.” Diana teased once again and then gave a
bright smile.
Xena smiled back and then taking hold of Diana’s chin she looked deep into her
eyes and said... “I’m going to miss you kitten, I know it’s only for a few
days, but those days will seem like an eternity without you in my arms. Diana
I love you so much...and I am demanding that you come back to me safe and
sound, otherwise you know what I will do?”
“ Yes...I know.” Diana said slightly chuckling with tears running down her
face as she looked into her loves concerned eyes.
Xena then lifted Diana’s hands to her lips and kissed the palm of them, and
then she leaned down and coming within inches of Diana’s lips she
whispered......I love you Diana, take care of my heart.”
“ I will, and you take care of my heart Love.” Diana said just before she
lifted her head up more and leaned in and connected their lips.
Xena took Diana in her arms and pulled her against her and intensified the
kiss, putting all that she was and is into it. When Xena broke the kiss Diana
swayed slightly and was taking in large amounts of air trying to refill her
lungs.
“ Gods! Xena..I think you did that hoping I would pass out from lack of
oxygen.” Diana breathe rapidly out of her mouth.
“ I just want you to know how much I’m going to miss you. Plus it’ll hold you
until we see each other.”
“ Well I don’t know about that, but it will definitely help. I love you Xena.”
Diana said sincerely.
Xena smiled and then said, “ Are you ready?”
Diana stood straighter and then with a waggle of her brows she said ....”Yes.”
Xena squeezed Diana’s arms and then letting go of Diana’s arms she took hold
of Diana’s hand and the two walked back to the ship and headed up the
gangplank. Once they had gotten aboard the ship, Xena once again scanned the
upper deck and located Nebula and beckon her over. Nebula came over and bowed
once again.
“ Sooo...I’m entrusting My Consort to your care Pirate, if anything happens to
her, you will have me to answer to.” Xena warned.
“ I will look out after Her Highness as if she were a child in my care. My
Lord.” Nebula assured.
“ Well I don’t know about the child thing Nebula.” Diana interjected.
Xena smirked and then said...” And you don’t try to do everything yourself,
remember what I said.”
“I will.” Diana assured.
Xena then gave Diana a final look and with a slight narrowing of her eyes she
lifted Diana chin up and said....” Be Good Kitten.”
“ I will Love.”
They then kissed a final time and Xena held Diana a moment longer after she
had broke the kiss. Finally Xena let go of Diana and with a wink she stood to
her full height and still holding Diana’s hand she turned and headed for the
gangplank.
Once there she then turned and slowly letting go of Diana’s hand, Xena then
strided down the plank to the ground and went to stand with Gabrielle and
Ephiny, as Diana went to stand by the rails of the ship looking over at those
she was about to leave for a time. The Gangplank was retracted back onto the
ship and stored. Nebula begun calling orders for the crews to prepare to
depart from the docks.
“ Raise Anchors! Bring her about!” Nebula called as the orders were echo
throughout the ship and on to the other ships in port.
Diana in the meantime, waved at everyone on land, and then Solari, and Eponin
came to stand on both sides of Diana along with Miki standing behind Diana.
Xena saw the formation and tilted her head in acknowledgement of the Guards
placement.
As the ship pulled away from port, Diana sent a thought to Xena....” Xena Keep
working on the traveller...ok?”
Xena smiled and sent a response....” Of Course kitten, daily until I figure it
out, I love you Diana take care ok?”
tears started to roll once again down Diana’s face as well as Xena’s as they
watched each other for as long as it was possible. Finally just before they
lost sight of each other Xena did a image in her mind of her and Diana.
“ AH! “ Diana exclaimed and then looked back at Xena to see her smirking at
her.
Diana pinched her lips to keep from smiling, but instead she crossed her arms
over her chest and pretended to pout. Xena put her fist on her hips and raised
a brow and Diana lost her composure and laughed.
Xena smiled and then waved a Royal type wave at Diana and Diana waved back.
Finally the other ships had gotten in line behind the Royal ship and it was
then that Xena and Diana lost sight of each other. They were on their way,
Diana was now out on her own to make her mark in a time where until now she
felt like she was not making a difference, now that was going to change, she
was about to help discover a new land and develop it from the ground up to
become a thriving populace.
Diana then turned to the three women standing around her and said....” Well,
here we go.”
The three women immediately agreed and turned to walk with Diana.
“ Your Highness?” Nebula called.
“ Diana, please...we are going to be together for a very long time, the least
you could do is call me Diana, we are friends after all.”
“ Ok, Diana.” Nebula said bowing her head slightly.
“ That’s better, now what is it?”
“ I was wondering if you had any idea as to what you wanted to do on the ship?
Not that anything is expected, but I know how much you like doing things...so
I figured you might want to take up a duty of some sort?”
“ Your right I do, but I don’t want to be locked into one thing everyday, I
want to relearn everything.”
“Hahahahaha , now what would Lord Xena think about that statement?”
“ She would probably make me choose one thing and stick to that and let
everyone else do their own thing.” Diana admitted.
“ I think your right. So what would you like to start with? Meals, deck work,
securing lines?”
“ I don’t think that would be to Lord Xena’s liking, Her Highness climbing any
rope to try and repair it.” Miki interjected.
“ Miki, it’s ok, I can handle any of them, but for now how about some type of
Deck work?”
“ Ok, you can help me steer the ship, you can be my relief, ok?”
“ GREAT! Which shift ?”
“whenever you want, I can pretty much handle it most of the time, but to have
a break every now and then would be great. Although for any storms or bad
weather it will either be myself or one of the other navigators, you will be
below deck.”
“ That won’t be necessary, I can handle storms, especially after what I had
installed on all of the ships. I don’t expect to be pampered, is that clear
Nebula?”
“ Yes, but you will allow some, only because I would hate for Our Lord to hear
that I let you work yourself to much.”
“ Ok, but only for that reason.” Diana allowed.
“ Ok, we’ll get everything iron out later, right now everything is pretty much
set, Utex is handling the steering right now, and everything else is covered
also at the moment. so for the next 2 days you will not do anything but get
use to the water.”
“ Nebula I’m fine, I’ve been on many ships, so if your worried that I may get
sick, don’t.”
“ No I wasn’t worried, I just want your body guards to be able to answer yes
when Our Lord asked them if you were pampered.” Nebula said with a big smile
at Diana and the other women.
Diana smiled back and then swatting at Nebula’s arm she said...” ok point
,made.”
“ Good, then let’s eat.” Nebula suggested.
“ Ok.”
The women headed for the galley and once there they sat at the main table and
just as Diana had sat down a young man came and stood by her , and Ludmilla
her personal servant walked up and bowed and waited for Diana’s meal to come
out. Once it had The servant who had brought it out was stopped by Miki and
the plater of food was held out to the young man, he took random pieces of the
food and took a drink of each of the drinks that were to be served to Diana.
Diana watched the young man and then said....” I would rather you not taste my
food or drink.”
“ Would you prefer someone else Your Highness?” The taster asked hoping that
was the fact.
“ No, it’s just I don’t need anyone to do that.”
“ Excuse me your Highness, but My Lord gave me specific orders that ALL of
your food and drink were to be tasted by the servant before you took any of
it, and the scribes that were sent are suppose to write any and everything
that happens.”
Diana looked at Miki for a long moment and then she said...” Ok, fine.”
The servant then Bowed and was dismissed by Diana and her food was placed in
front of her and then everyone else was served. During the meal Diana and
Nebula spoke of what their plans were and what they hoped would happen. After
the meal Diana went to her cabin for the rest of the night , as she laid on
her bed she watched Ludmilla unpack her things and the trunks that were
brought Ludmilla opened them and they stood as dressers and things for Diana’s
clothes and drawers for other things, Ludmilla started to unpack the trunk
with a lot of Diana’s things from Rah’s planet and so she called to
Ludmilla...” Ludmilla, leave that one, I’ll unpack it myself.”
“ Yes your Highness as you wish. Can I get you anything else for the night
Your Highness?”
“ No Ludmilla, I’m fine for the rest of the night, go and get some rest , I’m
sure tomorrow will be a busy one.”
“ Thank you My Queen.”
Diana smiled at Ludmilla and then dismissed her for the rest of the night, her
cabin was connected to Diana’s just in case she wanted or needed something, on
her otherside were Miki and the Amazons, outside her door were four of Xena’s
personal Royal Guards, outside the door was Miki . Diana laid in her bed and
putting her hand behind her head she thought about Xena.
“ Let’s see what would you be doing right about now Xena?” Diana said to
herself.
“ Your probably working trying to keep from going to bed, hoping to exhaust
yourself so that when you finally do go to bed it will be out of sheer
exhaustion, therefore it would keep your mind off of sleeping by
yourself...yes that’s probably what your doing. I would probably do the same
if it wasn’t for not knowing what would happen during the voyage, I know I
need to keep my mind and body well rested just in case. But despite that, I do
miss you love....sweet dreams.” Diana whispered to the breeze of air that
caressed her face as she closed her eyes and went to sleep.
