2007 Valentine's Day Special - Keep reading and feeding! You're really missing out if you don't - the bards write you back! You could rub elbows with the stars of the Xena FF universe!

February 14th, 2007

Valentine's Day, 2007, is officially open, as the Royal Academy of Bards Valentine's Day Special is here!

Thanks to all 18 of our bards who took the time to make our days just a bit brighter. After you've read, make their days brighter and send a note. It doesn't have to be an essay – a short "I read your story – thanks!" will do. Feel free to use that – I'm not going to claim copyright.

Steph said to put a nice quote, so here's my favorite: "Oh, love, love, love, love. Oh, it unites, you're right. And hate divides. Let's see which one's stronger, shall we?" Callisto said that in "Return of Callisto", right before she offed Perdy. Talk about your valentine's day present!

Remember, it's all about the love.

I¹m delighted to announce the re-release of Facing Evil. With a few changes, and added poetry, this newer version of Facing Evil embodies a much sleeker and more refined story. I am very appreciative and pleased with what PD Publishing has done to bring this captivating story back to life. For all those involved at PD Publishing (and a special shout out to Day), I graciously tip my hat to you. Thanks to everyone that purchased the initial release, I appreciate your patience and continuous support.

For those of you who don¹t know the story, a short synopsis; A serial killer stalks the police officer that almost brought him to justice. Haunted by her failure, Detective Abby Stanfield retreats to a mountain resort where she meets Sarah Murphy, the beautiful woman in the cabin next door. What follows is a string of events that will have both women fighting for their love and their very survival.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

If asked why I love her I would say
It's the sway in her hips, the thickness in her thighs.
It's the lust in her lips, the love in her eyes.
It's the softness of her skin, the silk in her hair.
It's the twist in her walk; it's the sweetness in her talk.
It's the way she loves me that makes me love her each day.
That is what I would say.
