My thanks to AoB for inducting me into its Hall of Fame. Posting at AoB has given some of my old stories new life, as well as introduced me to new fans through recent stories. It's wonderful the site continues to provide a home for such a variety of bards, in addition to extending the journeys of our favorite characters. Congratulations to all the others honored in 2010. I wish everyone the health and motivation to battle on!

Just wanted to say thanks to all the fans that took the time to vote for this year's Hall of Fame bards and stories. And, thanks to everyone who spared a few moments to send feedback. And, while I'm passing out the thanks; thanks to you and The Academy for hosting the stories so that we have a place to let our muses run free.

Well, what can I say... I'd like to thank the Academy (if it were only an Academy Award - well, what do you know!! It is!!!!!), the very busy Munchkins and especially the readers out there who have shown their faith in me by voting in "Miss-Match" and "Reflected Passion" into the Hall of Fame. It is a very humbling experience to know that the readers enjoy your work so much that they want to immortalize it. Thank you all.

Just wanted to say thank you to the Academy readers who voted Brave New World into the Hall of Fame this year. It's gratifying to know that folks continue to enjoy the stories year after year and that they are willing to take the time to vote them into the Hall of Fame, even when they've been around a while. Thanks to each and every one of you who have taken the time to read and feed and vote. It really is a totally righteous thing! :-)

A big shout-out goes to the Academy as well for continuing to host and post... especially my stuff - because I know how it makes the Munchkins cringe when they know I've got stuff incoming. Thank you all for making the Academy a good place to be.

And now we let DA BOSS tell you who the Academy named as the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient…take it away Steph…

As you guys know, every year the Academy of Bards select a special person who has contributed to the 'verse in inspiring ways and presents the Academy Lifetime Achievement award to them. We usually have a little trouble picking out the people who have had an impact and this year is no exception.

Her artwork is simply beautiful. From the comic strips of Little Xena and Gabrielle to the artwork on the fan-written continuation of the Xena: Warrior Princess series and everything in between! For over a decade, she has illustrated some of the most memorable images of the two women. She's also assisted the Academy in some of our fundraising efforts.

The Academy is proud to present the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award to Lucia. Thank you for all your contributions!

The one person in all of Greece who will surely steal the Conqueror's heart and turn her world upside down is the one who will change her utterly and completely.

Gabrielle's life has never been easy. She watched helplessly as her family's livelihood was stolen by raiders and her father disappeared without a trace. After narrowly escaping slavers who took her friends, she and her sister then watched their mother slowly waste away and die. But little did they know the worst was yet to come.
